Great, that means you found it. 50 episodes sounds long, sort of is, starts off a tad slow but after a while it really picks up steam, Victory! Peace! makes you wish it was actually longer than 50 episodes, you'll like Umeko too. Mr Green

U.H. episode 11, first of a 2 parter, really top notch one, Victory! Peace! Uramiya is after a high ranking police official who killed an old lady in a hit and run...and got away with it. Twisted

I don't know if it's official or not, but I found a myspace page with lots of hot Ayumi Kinoshita pics and video. http://www.myspace.com/kinoshita_ayumi

BTW Hitomi, what did you think of the first Uramiya Honpo, now that you've finished it?

Just checked that site, need to look at it more, dunno if that's from her or not, looks more like a fan did it, could be wrong though, I am totally clueless about MySpace, have never been on it. Shake Head
Enjoyed season one, heard season 2 is really good too, maybe you said that, gonna watch the 2008 and 2009 specials first, have them all set to watch. Victory! Peace! Is this the one you have with crappy subs? bleh

Yes season 2 is the one with the crappy subs, which are on the DVD. The translation isn't necessarily bad, it's the grammar and the spelling that's terrible. Plus instead of translating the character names into English, they translate them into romanized Chinese.

^^ I just finished a drama where they did the same thing with the names, you can tell it was probably someone from China who did it, names were almost all in Chinese. Nut
Really like this pic. Dancing

Don't know if you've seen either Uramiya special, gonna start on the first tomorrow, first is 77 minutes, second is 112 minutes, hard to believe they would make a special that long, but good, can never have too much Uramiya! Victory! Peace!

Naughty Naughty Er, mighty jealous of Mika, what's up with her hand? Naughty Naughty

Watched the 2008 Uramiyaa Honpo special, seemed okay but need to download it again, quality the second half left something to be desired, plus the audio was off. U Suck Few shots from it though, least the quality always improved when Uramiya was on the screen. Sweat

Few more UH tidbits, ratings for the 2008 special were actually fairly good considering it was a late night show in the first place, special was aired in prime time and had a rating of 9.7%. Applaud Title of it was Kazoku no Yami: Monster Families, most of the cast were the same, few pics here of them and of course with Uramiya. hehe

^^^I just saw both specials today. After watching the second one... I'm wishing I could watch it with English subs. It kinda connects the dots with the end of season 1, but I still couldn't understand it because of the lack of English subs. I also realize how much different season 2 is from season 1. In season 2, detective Satoshi has a reduced role, and Uramiya has a new assistant.

Subs certainly make a huge difference, been able to catch the basic plot but only certain things they talk about. bleh Shame Satoshi has a reduced role, that looked like a good subplot in the making. Probably hurts too losing Susumu as her assistant, that guy is just so good at everything he does. Mr Green

It does kinda suck that Satoshi has a reduced role. Hitomi Hasebe's character basically takes on Satoshi's role of trying to find out who Uramiya is and expose her, while Satoshi kinda takes a back seat. However, Hasebe's character gets far more development than Satoshi received in season 1. I think that makes up for Satoshi's reduced role in season 2.
