looking for something that is totally stress-free, have some funny/interesting moments, not too long ago (probably at least year 2002 onwards), one or two ikemen will be great (if none also fine), medium to fast paced, something that is worth watching. I have already watched most i can in the top 100 list...
Though one ... you have seen already so much
You might have already seen all this but I can only think of:
- Koi no Chikara from 2002, romantic comedy, Tsutsumi Shinichi is the lead.
- Moteki from the this summer's season, Moriyama Mirai is far from being an ikemen but that's the point of this series. Oh and I started to like it only after the first episode, so little patience is required.
- Have you ever seen Manhattan Love Story? If not you might like it since you like Kudo Kankuro stuff.
- Hito ni Yasashiku - aka Be Nice To People. Three dudes living together and having to deal with a child.

^^ I second that recommendation on Manhatten Love Story, one of the funniest and quirkiest dramas I've seen, also one of the best. Another one I just watched was 4 Shimai Tantei Dan, not a known one but really stressless, funny and corny, about 4 sisters who end up solving murder cases but in an offbeat, lighthearted way. _________________

You're welcome. I have the DVD of the show, subs were quite easy to read, downloaded some anyways from LJ, they were a bit cut off at the bottom, try just downloading one first from whatever site to make sure they're okay. The main character never talks out loud, his thoughts are what appear so a lot of times they're only half on the screen. _________________

I am desperately searching for a dorama narrating some love story between two childhood friends. My problem is the relationship should be monogamic and with a happy end, like it happens in some manga stories, but I couldnft find it in dorama.
Could anybody help me?

You can try looking at some of the asadoras (morning dramas). I haven't watched it, but Sunadokei may be about childhood friends.
Churasan had a couple who met where they were children, but they didn't grow up together, not sure if that counts.

I did a <search> and it was impossible to find, so I need your help.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a JDrama based off a musical band, like a rock or pop band. Since a lot of these actors are already singers and musicians, it should be easy for them to do.
They base their dramas off of restaurants, and baseball, and swimming, and schools, and flight attendants, and even locksmiths, you'd think music would be a good idea.
I have seen Nodame Cantabile, and I really enjoyed it. I think it'd be great if they had one based on a band. I even saw the Kdrama, "You're Beautiful". I thought it was pretty good (except I kinda got tired of the whiny girl always going "mianhae" all the time. ) But aside from that I thought it was good.

Can't think of any dramas, but there are films, like Swing Girls and Linda Linda Linda...

^^ And those are two great movies.
Funny how there hasn't been a drama along those lines, you would think it could be a successful one. Only one that may come close is Mukodono, though there may be others.

^ Great movies indeed - I can add more suggestions when it comes to movies:
- Solanin
- The Shonen Merikensack
- Bandage
- Iden & Tity
- Rockers
- Nana
but few dramas, there is Tokyo Friends (6 episodes plus a movie) a Nana-like show about a girl who wants to make it big, in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus is an Idol singer and Taiyo no uta is about a girl who sings with her guitar the street after dark, also was made into a movie. Then in Kamisama mousukoshi dake, Takeshi Kaneshiro plays a music producer and a very young Yukie Nakama plays a singer - but it's a side story ...

Great choice there in Iden Tity, little play on the words in they had in the movie, how'd I forget that, I agree 100% with that recommendation, what a fabulous movie! _________________
I am looking for a J-dorama to watch, lately... if I were to not find one, I was considering rewatching some of my old favorites, but I'd prefer to watch something I haven't seen (I inevitably skip through stuff when I'm rewatching, since I know what's going to happen)..
Looking for something romance genre, cutesy but not over-the-top. Or, something more thoughtful and contemplative. But preferably still in the romance genre? I'm not really looking to watch any professional dramas, if you know what I mean - sorta trying to go through a detox of those dramas, since I have seen way too many crime dramas, etc.
But, as reference, here are a few that I have immensely enjoyed in the past, LOL:
Hotaru no Hikari
Hana Yori Dango
Orange Days
Nodame Cantabile
And, you know what, it doesn't even have to be that great. As long as I'm not stuck watching a "scenario" drama, which nowadays a lot of dramas are (either scenario-based crime, or whatever professional or it doesn't even need to be professional drama)... Idk, the first thing that comes to mind is something along the level of Anego - not spectac, but cute and I appreciated it...
