Finished the Nodame Cantabile part 2 film. Great seeing all those great cities in the glory of HD, listening to classical music masterpieces, and seeing those whimsical animated graphics thrown into the live action mix.
The casting for this drama/comedy was really quite good, holding up well to the voice acting/characterizations of the the anime.
Every time Strezeman spoke Japanese with every word uttered with the emphasis on the WRONG syllable I could not help cracking the hell up. That ish is so funny! I don't think when I was back in school even the worst student in my Japanese class spoke like that. I don't know how the actor could keep a straight face.
Tamaki and Ueno are great male and female leads, respectively.

I laughed out loud quite a few times. Fans of the show are fortunate that its popularity led to the SP as well as the theatrical release. The only other drama that I could think of with so many additional releases is Densha Otoko.
