with the last episode of the Korean drama, "Secret Garden" just out in Korea, and uploaded elsewhere, I thought I try to find a home for SG discussion and try to find a spot on the forum, if there is any for Korean Drama discussions, besides here.

This thread is a catchall for all K-Drama and actor discussions...
The main focus of this entire forum is J-Doramas and I think the Admin, Genma, wants to keep it this way... You might check the D-Addicts forums for a Secret Garden discussion thread.

Yeah, there is a thread at d-addicts, also one at soompi
thanks...i might check out the d-addicts, but now I am venturing back into the J-drama season, discussions. still...SG was quite an impressive drama to watch!
Secret Garden was good. I had a lot of issues with it, but still overall entertaining to watch.

I see. I feel the subs for the Korean shows come out at a more consistent pace compared to the Japanese shows. There are still show J-dramas from last season that I haven't started cause the subs still aren't done. So it's just easier to start another Korean show.

Unfortunately true.
The only subgroup that gets the JDrama subs out on a consistent basis is Heiwa and independents like Chuks. JDramas needs one large subbing group like S2 has for KDramas so they can handle more than one or two dramas a season.

I did notice that as well. There are an abundance of Korean dramas that are released and subtitled in English. I enjoy both K-dramas and J-dramas, but I am thankful for the subtitlers to take their free time to help subtitle dramas for everyone else.
SG special episode was just released.

it was basically a summary of the drama and some interviews, funny scenes, more interviews, and wrap up thank you's from the actors and actresses. A wonderful korean drama to watch!!!

Since so many people here were so enthusiastic about Secret Garden I thought I'd give it a shot. And I was really enjoying it... until what... episode 6, when they decided to go all "Freaky Friday" on me.
After that, I just sort of lost interest. Which is a shame, because I thought they had a pretty interesting romantic comedy going there for a while. _________________

I watched A Love to Kill, a tragic love story with Rain and Shin Min Ah. Better than expected. A lot of comments were about how the ending sucked, but I found the second half absorbing and moving at times. It's definitely not for everyone, pretty much all the characters felt terrible, you have got to be in the mood to watch something like this. The two main actresses were very good in their roles, I could clearly see their emotions and understand what they were going through. The first half wasn't as good for me because the relationship seems fake and I couldn't understand what Rain's character was thinking and how he changed. Recommended though if you like this kind of series.
