What I should've said was that this version of Nobunaga might be the most likeable, despite his violence. And yes Tachi Hiroshi's version in Komyo was crazy, lol.
And yanie you're probably correct about Ogonyan. On the top page of Nobunyaga's Ambition. the only female kitty shown is actually her, and a flash (which is now my avatar, lol) on the bottom right shows the running Ogonyan and Nobunyaga XD. Koei's been known to do stuffs related to the Taiga dorama. Like last year they released a game based on Ryoma.
The comprehensiveness of Aoi's Sekigahara might have been the fact that it was the 400-year anniversary of the battle. Koei also released the game Kessen that year.

"To Learn Gou's Love History through a Manga"
She was born healthily in the middle of wars! GO MONOGATARI (The Story of Go)!
"Goo... goo..." "Hogya...."
She steal and eat her sister, Hatsu's manjuu everyday.
"Again!?"
"I'm not eating it..."
"Hohoho..."
"Ahaha..."
She frankly speaks to Nobunaga. Frank Gou!
"Uncle you're weird,"
"Korya, ojisan ippon torarechatta naa" (dunno how to translate this, coz I don't get what he mean with "ippon")
When she's upset she would run away from home riding a horse.
"Bakayarooo(you idiot)!"
She never hold back toward Hideyoshi too, the man who had ruling power that time.
"You damn monkey!!" (with Nobunaga's ghost behind her, lol)
"Ooo... you resemble Nobunaga-sama so much!" (arrow at Hideyoshi -> Super M(masochist)?)
She support and encourage her third husband, the 2nd Tokugawa shogun, Hidetada.
"Dear, work hard!!"
A mother of 5 daughters and 2 sons?
Ieyasu: "That's our Gou!"
Hidetada: "Gegege..." (apparently the 2nd shogun, Hidetada, was also a manga author? Mizuki Hidetada? LOL.)
To be frank to herself, that's the way Gou lives.
Everyone falls for her frankness and freedom. _________________

Gou: Soge desu ka... (Really...)
(Arigatouuuu tte tsutae.... -> Ikimonogakari's ARIGATOU lyrics)
LOL! This F part is a total parody of "Gegege no Nyobo". "Yokattan jyanai ka omae de" was Mukai Osamu's line in Gegege's last episode.
"Soge desu ka" is "Sou desu ka" version of Izumo dialect. The Gegege couple speaks in that dialect^^ And FYI, "Gegege no Nyobo" is about a wife who support/encouraged her manga-author husband daily^^
Btw, honestly, I don't get E's joke. Or did I mistranslate that? If there's any mistranslation, pls don't hesitate to correct me, ne~ _________________
EDIT: I get a little bit of the subjects but never the details... benkyou, benkyou!
EDIT 2: about E, it is said in Wikipedia that Toyotomi Hideyoshi was Nobunaga's sandal bearer, so I googled sandal bearer and found:
"The sandal bearer is a figure that not only appeared in Egypt, but also in several other civilizations. In Japan e.g. there was a man named Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He was born of humble origins in ca. 1536 during the "Period of Warring States". As young boy he became a sandal bearer and had the habit of keeping his master?s sandals warm against his body when he was carrying them. This was a small act, but it was highly appreciated. Hideyoshi quickly climbed the ladder of success, from the time of his first commander, Oda Nobunaga onwards."

^ Kishitani Goro is playing Toyotomi Hideyoshi as sort of a kooky goofball... Is that the way the real Hideyoshi was?
In many adaptations, he is portrayed as a smart and brave goofball. But GOU has not shown that smart and brave part of him, because it shows very minimum of the Sengoku battle history. The first time I come to admire and notice what a great man Hideyoshi is, was by watching Komyo ga Tsuji.
Between the war with Azai Nagamasa and the Honnoji Incident, I believe there were more war stories. Too bad, GOU doesn't tell the story because it focuses on the princesses who most of the time stays in the castle. Thus, we can't see Hideyoshi's efforts in the war, in details, and we can't really see WHY he can become the next ruler after Nobunaga. You should watch other adaptation to understand that, like Takenaka Naoto's HIDEYOSHI
Anyway, GOU is told in a very feminine point of view. (very shoujo manga-like)
So the guys won't look that great here. Not to mention all the three rulers, Nobunaga-Hideyoshi-Ieyasu seem to be intimidated by Gou from time to time. Well, as for Nobunaga, he was more of smittened than intimidated, I guess
7th-key, thank you for the explanation! Hmm... Gou scold him for something he was highly appreciated of... that doesn't make any sense, lol. Or maybe it was a calculated act by Hideyoshi? He's a cunning man afterall^^ Maybe he'll know, he'll be appreciated more if he do the small act.
And actually, E's theme is suppose to be her mutual love with Hidekatsu... so I really don't get E part XD _________________

I totally can understand Nobunaga.
By the way, have you ever seen Juri-chan acting angry? Like for example a couple of times in Nodame. She can be VERY intimidating.

Yup, give or take a year.
Thanks, Beem! When I first watched the ep, I had forgotten when her father died, so I took their ages as closer to mid teen as they switched to adult actresses. Then some of the scenes didn't make sense as much, especially why Lord Nobunaga would tolerate such insolence from Gou. Now it makes much more sense. _________________

Yup.
At least you weren't turned off by this revelation, like some.
