LOL, I'll probably take you up on that - my web design skills are somewhat lame Rolling eyes Sweat

Kenshin06: The first three characters are katakana for 'iyaa' - year? And the last three are sabishii or samishii which means 'lonely'. Don't know if that makes any sense in the context, maybe this more a job for darkflame21 hehe

Thinking about it, iyaa might just be a exclamation? e.g '*grumble* I'm lonely'? Bleah

id think the first would mean iyaa, as in iyaa, like no good, or bad, or something you dont like, and sabishii is lonely, but the rest of the sentence or some sorta context that it comes from would really help, or whichever date that entry was.

you mean } ?

dat word is written in katagana which means it must be non-native jap word (like translated from eng).

for example, oii equal to banana.

i think it's iyaa = year (pronounce from eng)

the best way i can translate this years of being lonely. Sweat Sweat Sweat Sweat Sweat

Just because its katakana doesnt mean its non native... katakana is sometimes used to change the meaning of a word slightle, or stress it more, words like are written like that more than others as well. But without the context its in I have no way to judge it.
From what i remember from reading the diary in the past Aya tends to use katakana for some words you normally wouldnt, I know i've seen her do it there before.

hmmm.... dat's interesting, cause i was always taught (in 2 jap course) dat katakana is use for foreign words (like banana and coffee) and hiragana and kanji is used for native jp words.

well, i suppose u understand everything in aya's diary? Wink

Yeah, it is generally, but katakana is also used when you want to emphasis something or for phonetic words - hence my grumble theory Smile

hehehe, yup lots of aya pics Big Grin

I want to change it but tight started the thread. I'll talk to ara about changing it.

Oh and I think she has long hair right now since the last time I saw her on Heyx3 she had long hair and she was performing "Ai no Tameni". The short hair was probably from pics taken earlier for her album and single.

Well, Ace wo Nerae has just finished, she's currently tied up with filming Azumi 2 and her next single is out in June, so not for a while I should imagine!

OK, finished XviDing the whole of Aya's 'Clips' DVD. Here is the entire list (NB: I've posted some of these files before (The CMs are the same, just added the DVD tag for constitency) so check you don't already have them before leeching Smile) Despite all being encoded at the same quality setting, the size seems to bear little relation to the length of the clip, so don't worry about that Wink Any problem with the URLs/files, let me know.

Expect a DVD rip of the 'Ai no Tameni' PV and bonus clip from the first edition MESSAGE album tomorrow-ish Smile
