Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict @ Bottega Louie, downtown.

Took a peaceful shot of the Walt Disney Concert Hall on the way there.

Yup! Definitely. The one time in L.A. you can drive in peace is early Sunday morning, when all the crackheads and drunks are fast asleep, and most offices/businesses are still closed.

The eggs look heavenly.
When I lived in Colorado the ASpen Mine Company did eggs with fresh crab and hollandaise. Delicious.

Well as said here are the huge artichokes we had the other night.

Then the weekend after watching too many cooking shows I baked themed cupcakes.

They went with the FLamingo paper paltes. hehe

Then a friend brought this lovely strawberry cake unfortunately finished with Cool Whip and not fresh cream. Shake Head

Looked cool though. Victory! Peace!

They look fab. Cooking in general is one thing, but baking specifically takes real care and precision.

Good work, Beastmaster.

If I baked 'em there would be nothing left to stick the toothpicks in...

One of my favorite dishes from this one tapas bar in Barcelona, Tapac 24. It's a basket of just perfectly fried little fish. Dayem I wish I remembered the name of the dish, but alas I do not.

The taste was incredible. Fresh, light, and flavorful. It had the perfect crunch without being at all greasy...as if it wasn't even fried. This small basket came at a premium though. It costs 16 Euros which is about 23 Dollars. Sweat Who cares, next time I'd order 3 of 'em. Smile

hehe

I know it's retarded, huh? Sorry, I usually have a sharp memory for these things but in this case I'm not 100 percent sure so I used a generic description.

I'll ask my buddy and see if he recalls a specific name of the dish (or the fish, as it were)!
