Actress Toda Naho celebrated the birth of her first child, a girl, on February 10. She married a doctor in October 2010, and she revealed in August 2011 that she was pregnant.

Toda Naho will be making her acting comeback in the upcoming Fuji TV drama series, �eHigashino Keigo Mysteries�e.

Toda gave birth to her first child back in February, and this will be her first drama appearance since �eAibou�e, which aired in October of last year. Toda expressed thanks to: �gMy mom and mother-in-law. With the cooperation of many people, I�fm thankful to be able to challenge myself to work.�h

The drama will feature 11 short stories from Higashino Keigo�fs collection, �eHannin no Inai Satsujin no Yoru�e. Toda will make an appearance in the first episode, �gSayonara Coach�h, as the pregnant wife of protagonist (Karasawa Toshiaki).

Regarding her role as a pregnant woman, Toda commented, �gChildbirth and child care are hectic. It�fs a nostalgic feeling to think that I was actually pregnant about 4 months ago. It feels like it was ages ago.�h

She continued, �gThe time of pregnancy was a time of happiness. I always took care of my body and heart. That�fs how I played this role.�h

Fuji TV will air �eHigashino Keigo Mysteries�f every Thursdays at 10:00 pm starting July 5th.
