At one point the National Weather Service actually issued a flash flood warning as well as a tornado warning for part of Los Angeles County. Tornado, man...that doesn't happen too often.

I remember way back in the early 80's ('81? '82?) when a tornado touched down and damaged part of the Convention Center... I saw a piece of guard rail wrapped around a nearby light pole like a twist tie.

Guess you are back in Kansas after all, Dorothy.
Meanwhile it is a gorgeous day here and I am sick as a dog with bronchitis. Guess I couldnt skip it this year after all. _________________

Sorry to hear about your seemingly annual bout with bronchitis. Considering you are so healthy it is perplexing that this situation crops up every winter. In any event, I wish you ascending health and a speedy recovery, my friend. Best.

Somewhat shocking perhaps, I haven't eaten ramen once since I returned from Japan last December. I think after a few incredibly tasting bowls I'm resigned to the fact that most of what is available here will now disappoint me, man.
I'm sure the feeling will wear off eventually.

Really nice.
We have great temps but the pollen is a thick green dust on everything. _________________

Yes indeed. Hi chocholic!
Wow, rained hard enough yesterday Disney World flooded for the first time. Got 3 inches in one hour! The fire dept came to help pump water out.
But today was so beautiful and the pollen was damped down too! _________________
