Yaiko to release new album


Singer-songwriter Yaida Hitomi has announced that she is releasing a new album on September 26th called �gpanodrama�g.

Her last album was released over a year ago titled �gVIVID MOMENTS�g. This new album will be her 9th original album. The album will have many tie-ins such as �gMachigai darake no Diary�g, which is the theme song to NHK�fs �gYoru��Dora �eBitter Sugar�f�h, and �gSayonara Arigato�g, the theme song to TV Asahi�fs Thursday mystery drama �gKyoto Chiken no Onna�h.

Yaiko also celebrated her birthday on July 28th �gNaniwa no Hi�h at Shinkiba STUDIOCOAST, performing a one-man live �gYaida Hitomi Natsu no Genki Matsuri 728 • 815�g. It was at the live on the 28th she announced the album.

Yaiko will go on a Hall Tour for the album starting in November.

I'm a fan, but not that big a fan. Kind of interesting, that's the first time I've seen an autograph of a Japanese artist not in kanji, hiragana, or katakana.
