Eeeck!!!! Fine i'll give you your stuff!!!! GOD!!!
It's just that i got really pissed!!! Considering that all the stuff yuo sent me was crap!!!!!!!!I know i was wrong to not send you your stuff... but that does not change the crap that you sent me

Email me at [email protected]
So, as the "Baka" returns (that was your old email). You got upset, but at leeast you got your stuff. But I'm not here to get into a pi$$ing contest with you (not much anyway), even tho I have every reason to. Even IF I send bad stuff out, why didn't I get any replies? If you would have replied and/or send some of my stuff out, you would have gotten replacements and a lot of stuff extra. Where's my $hit? The least you could have done in good faith was to send SOME stuff and/or replied to the email I sent. I recieved nothing from you. As anyone who i have traded/given stuff out (yes I do do that too) and they will tell you I'm good on my word, check out the 1st page of this thread. BTW who can vouch for you?? Someone also told me that soon after you stiffed me, you had "Maho no Joken" available for trading. If I did give you a bad copy, why are you trying to trade "a bad copy"? Anyways, even if the source I heard it from was not good, and it's your word against his, and at this point, you word means jack to me.

Point is I've done countless of snail-mail trades and you were the first (congrats) to burn me. But I'm OK with that now, so keep your stuff, b/c I've already got those titles that you promised me. I'll continue trading, you'll continue "trading", the world goes on. You can also tell whoever I trade with here that I'm a bad trader or whatever, but unlike others I come here a lot, I don't hide. You on the otherhand, I will tell whoever wants to hear, that if they want to trade with you in this board, be prepared to get disappointed, or at least get some vaseline ready. Not trying to be mean, I just want to let them know the truth. "Eff" me once, shame on you. "Eff" me twice, shame on me.
You know where I am, and I'm done with you.

I was afraid this thread would start to get negative at some point. If your name appears on this thread as being a bad trader, please don't gripe about it. Instead, remedy the situation with the other person off-line. Keep in mind that this thread is based on the PERCEPTION of the OTHER PARTY.

For all traders from both the serving and receiving ends... Treat the transactions like a business situation:

1) Write your initial e-mails like you were writing a contract. Always write up the specifics before confirming the transaction. Explain EXACTLY what the deliverables are, the delivery terms (# days, shipping method/costs, etc.)

2) If shipping outside the continental US (i.e. Alaska and Hawaii), NEVER ship media rate. It can take up to 30 days! Always ship first-class... Costs more, but the speed of the transaction greatly improves.

3) During the transaction, keep the e-mail communications flowing. Even if there is no new status, tell the other person that. Certain traders need this hand-holding.

4) Test EVERYTHING you burn! Always prepare yourself for the worst scenario (ex: trader has a 30-year old DVD player, trader is using a Macintosh to play VCDs, etc.)

5) Make it clear what format/codec/platform/etc. you need to play the jdorama. Does the trader need the AC3 audio codec? Stuff like that.

6) When grading the quality of jdoramas, have someone else grade it for you. It's hard to be objective... If you own the jdorama, you always grade higher, but if it's someone else's, you always grade lower. It's a human thing! I go through this problem when trading comic books and beanie babies.

7) Don't abuse yourself from over-trading. Learn about yourself in terms of how quick you can deliver. If you've reached your personal threshold, STOP trading and focus on depleating your trading queue before opening yourself up to new trades.

I hope this list helps you have a more successful transaction.

Hey, everyone!

One thing I didn't exactly make clear in my last post is that there shouldn't be any non-constructive criticism (i.e. name calling, threats, etc.) in the posts that doesn't do anything other than add fuel to the fire. That's what I meant by keeping this sort of back-and-forth mudslinging out of the thread and instead keep it in PM. I should've stayed out of this, and I apologize, to everyone, especially niko2x and Robogokua, for that. Sad

i would agree with groink. i created this thread in order to help people know what kind of other people they are trading with, not a thread to flame others that have wronged you or whatever. leaving a bad feedback is one thing, but posting back and forth is something else. constructive criticisms would be the best because it might help someone who is not the best trader become a better trader. just a couple thoughts.

Great trade with Stargirl Big Grin My first completed trade, actually, although I have another couple in the works. Thankfully my first experience was with a really honest and helpful trader!

Just like to put 2 positive votes in, one for ruroshin and another for amraryu (spelling?). Both great traders, highly recommended.

NO "Good Guy" Posts Here Please.

Please READ The Post Above Carefully In Regards To Posting Here. Then, DELETE Your Post Please, As It Is Not Needed Here.

Unfortunately, Scammers DO Make Numerous Trades Before Turning To Scamming. They Like To Use Those Trades (ie Other Member's Referrals) As Their Main Selling Pitch. They Are Able To Bring In More Funds Over A Period Of Time (At The End) While Delaying And Using Other Member's "Refs" To Buy More Time (To Take More Funds) Before Taking Off.

Do You Know Him Personally? IF NOT, Then Do Not Post Here.
Do You Really Want Your Word Link To This Man?

A Good Rule Of Thumb With Any Dispute:
If You Have So Much Faith In Him, Only Post If: YOU WILL GLADLY MAKE GOOD ON EVERY OUTSTANDING DISPUTE And Allow The Member (In This Case: ganhosi) To Just Worry About Re-Paying You Everything Owed... Smile
Because, I Will Gladly Forward You The PMs And Emails From Those That Have Already Informed Me Of Oustanding Disputes.
OR Do Not Post On Disputes That You Are Not Willing To Clear Up For: "My Good Buddy / Friend That Would Never Steal From Someone, Because I Have Known Him For A Few Weeks/Months, etc." And Otherwise Have No Clue Who The Guy Actually Is And Could Not Identify Him If I Met Him In Public...

Traders That Have Been Around Awhile In The Trading World Know Exactly What Is Going On Here.

If No One Is Willing To Standup Here And Keep Members Accountable For Their Actions (And Protect New Members), Then I Gladly Will...

And It Is Not Only I That ganhosi Has A Dispute With On This Board...

ALSO, Thank You To Those That Actually Read The Post And Have Emailed/PM Me In Regards To This Matter.

Maybe This Quote From A PM, That I Received Today After I Posted This Thread, Might Help More People Come Forward, As It Invloves Someone That Had A Few Previous Trades With ganhosi:

"I talked to another member in a similar situation and he got his money back through his credit card company. He told me that the last time Onizuka007 emailed him back was 4 weeks ago. I have had 2 good transactions with him in the past, but I will not defend him. To wait this long without refunds or even an explanation to people is unacceptable."
The PM Was Actually Longer, But Just That Paragraph Illustrates The Extent Of The Disputes.

That Should Give Those That Are Wating To Post/Email/PM Some Idea That They Are Not Alone And Actually How Widespread This Problem is With ganhosi / Onizuka007....

For Some Reason, My PM Outbox Is Collecting And Not Actually Sending The PMs...

Those That Offered To Send The Information, And Are Waiting On A Response, Please Send It.
There Seems To Be No Telling When My PMs Will Actually Be Sent To You.

Hi

I was asked to write about my experience with Onizuka007 aka [email protected].

As I mentioned in my post under "Free DVD" first posted by Onizuka007,I had sent him paypal payment via my credit card. I did this because its a nice protection for the buyer in case that the seller did not come through with the product. Which in this case, I never got my DVDs or email updates from Onizuka007. With paypal payment via bank transfers, you only have to 1 month for dispute and afterthat, you are out of luck and will never see your money again. I heard good things about Onizuka007 here before placing my order but still I was a little hesitant when someone here is willing to make "free" DVDs . That is the reason why I chose to pay him with paypal via credit card. With the Credit card payment, you have 3 months to dispute the charges . The best way for disputing charges in this situation is directly with your credit card and do not dispute this via paypal directly. You will get the run around and nothing will happen(www.paypalsucks.com). Your credit card will fight this charge, and Paypal will have no choice but to credit your credit card and not directly to your paypal account.

Recently I called my credit card company about the update and they are working on it. My refund will be showing up on my next month's statement.

I have a bad feeling about this Onizuka007 guy and I think he will blow this off if you don't take action within the next month (if you use Paypal direct bank transfer) and if you use credit card (3 months limit).

Hope this info was helpful!

I suggest everyone waiting for Onizuka007 to start trying to recover their money. I've been emailing Onizuka007 for a while and he hasn't responded. I filed a complaint with Paypal and contacted my credit card company for a chargeback. It is now under investigation, but I don't know if I'll ever get my money back. I know there's more than three of us in this position. Just check the Onizuka's original DVD post. I know a lot of you are saying "Onizuka007 will come through." I would have said that too a couple months ago. But what if he doesn't? What then?

I agree with ONI, if you made payment via paypal, contact them now or your credit card company. Its pretty obvious that Onizuka007 never intended on fullfilling the order. This is credit card fraud and your credit card company will need your complain to go after this guy. Paypal already have his address on file so take action now. Good luck!

It is my understanding that there are some traders who are reluctant to post reviews of an individual who has ripped them. This thread, thanx to geoffropuff, is for the sole purpose of identifiying the good and the bad traders, so the scammers wouldn't be ripping another person. Having a reputaion in the trading culture is big and a lot of times that's all a potential trader can go by. If a person would like to trade, but after reading this thread, s/he decides and weights all the criteria and would like to trade with a certain person, past trades are the only thing s/he can judge.

I don't mean to babble, but those of you who have disputes should definitely post, if they have been given enough time. I too was reluctant to post before, b/c i didn't want to give that person a "negative feedback", if you will. But after about 3 months of waiting and still no response, I finally got fed up. I'm not saying to post for no reason, but in my case, he didnn't respond to my email after I've given my stuff for 3 month, that was reason for me to post his name up.

If you feel like you had a situation like this, then by all means post.

another good resource to use is http://www.heatware.com. Many people trade, buy and sell items and then they leave positive or negative feedback based on their experiences. It's like ebay but no central place. Just refernece to positive and negative experiences.

Just an update on Jae Choe aka Onizuka007

When I was checking on my paypal account to see the status of dispute, I see that the seller (Onizuka007) had responded so that means he is checking his emails and not answering our emails regarding the status. This leads me to think he is a crook. But no matter, my credit card company reversed the charge. Lucky for him or else I would've drive down there to hunt down his sorry ass! If anyone have any questions, email me at [email protected].
