Geo Metros??? LOL. They have almost no horsepower so why rev and try to race?? I like Civics from 98 and up.....pretty decent cars. I don't have one, but they're still nice. But I drive something similar. Yay for economy cars
All 3 of their cylinders, and they aren't even "rice burners". BTW, my ride is a civic, 94 tho. Sips and EEEEZZZ on the gas. _________________

Not to sound like a retard but what is a hyper blinker?
I kinda like Altezza tail lights It depends. If it's simple clear and red and depending on the car it's on (anything older than a 95....just....NO!!!). But when it's got black and stuff in it, I don't like them. But I'm a girl, I just like what's pretty, lol
I kinda like those things, I dunno what they are called, but they are small steady lights by the windshield sprayer. I want purple ones of those I probably wouldn't add anything to my car that's extravagant. With my luck it would get stolen or destroyed by some arsehole. I already have nicks and scratches and $hit from people bumping me and crap I like neon plate frames too, but I wouldn't get one for mine. Someone would steal it or mess it up, I just know it. And it would draw attention to me too, lol. I wouldn't dare get rims because it just doesn't fit my car's style. As much as I love my little cute economy car, I know my limits to some extent I think rims would look stupid on my car. I just like subtle additions for my baby
My pet peeve = putting 20" or 22" shiny $200+ rims on rusted-out piece of crap cars that barely run and have bad body damage....like the rims are the nicest looking thing about your car, and your engine sounds like p00. And putting rims on minivans annoys me too. And yeah....big kicker sound systems on crappy cars too......ICK. Tacky...use the money to make your car nice and RUN.
I thnk hyper blinkers happens if one side of the blinker is disconnected/broken, so the other side is ultra fast. I found out b/c it happened to me recently. I got into a wreck on my front rt fender, and i was driving it as is for a couple of months with no right blinkers. when i signal to go left, the blinkers would go mad fast.
As far as "hooking my car up", i think it's a bad idea in philly. Don't get me wrong philly ain't a bad place, I just had a bad 1st experience with philly. I remeber about 5 yrs back i was driving thru 610 (i believe around temple university(?)) I came across this red light. this homeless guy comes and spits on mycar for no effing reason and starts cleaning it. At first i found it sorta amusing, until he banged on my window for some money, WTF!!! You fouled my car up, and want to get paid? You betta get steppin'! _________________

Philly, bleh. I lived there for a decade, couldn't wait to get out of that place. It has some interesting places, but overall, I felt it was very dirty and unfriendly.

Actually it can be because the signal is broken OR they decided to buy the strobe bulb to put on instead of the stock light bulb....either or... FIX IT!! lol _________________

But the thing is.... when gurls have Altezzas on its alright.... but for those guys who slap big "shopping cart handles"(big spoilers) on their car and put like 1 million stickers on and have their car unmodified... its wrong.... maybe im just being biased.... i dunno _________________

Altezzas work with maybe 1% of the cars out there. The rest just look cheaply modified (*ahem*Honda*cough*). _________________

Finally got one. You'd think corporate restrooms are spanking clean.
They're NOT spanking clean when a fellow employee decides to brush his teeth in the same sinks in which the rest of us need to wash our hands after # 1'g. or # 2'g.
See, if I manage to SMELL the toothpaste residue? That means I'm inhaling said brushers': 1) breath; 2) food particles; 3) saliva, SHALL I GO ON?!
Oh, yeah, and racers on the road is what I don't like as well (THAT's right folks, we got people who SPEED ON A SMALL ISLAND [see a logic blind spot here?]). And, due to some recent mean accidents, we got some proportionately MEAN legislation coming down the pike, where punishments will probably include arrests on the first offense and other assorted felony charge goodies for offenders.
I support any such bills 100%. I'm don't intend to wait for some racer to end up killing one of my loved ones before I start giving a rip about the issue.

Eww...no wonder. Temple is in a $hithole neighborhood. Ugh!! I only drive by there if I absolutely have to. I never had that happen to me though, LOL. You have to handle that kinda thing Philly style....say "Get the F#@k away from my car @$$hole!!!!! I didn't ask for $hit! Get a f#@kin' job!". I wouldn't hook my car up anyway. Like I said, there's always someone that's gonna mess it up because they are broke and don't take responsibility so they just make damage and take off, or they do it on purpose because they are bored broke losers. As you already know my car has been hit and run 3 times and I was vandalized once.....all in 3 years. Not once was any culprit caught.

Yeah, it depends on the part too....I don't find it unfriendly necessarily, but I've always lived here I'd probably be happier in the suburbs though. Close enough to go into the city for whatever reason, but far enough away. I'm already near the Montgomery County border anyway, lol. Parking is a nightmare in every neighborhood unless you have a driveway. There are a lot of crappy people.....but that's everywhere. But I will TOTALLY admit.....the 911 operators and the police here are a TOTAL JOKE!!!! I hate them so much, they never help or come when you need them within an hour or two. Completely useless.

Oh good, I feel better then Some cars are coming with them on now. I saw some new Altimas that have them straight from the factory. I like Altezza tail lights, but I dunno if I'd actually get them. I kinda wish my car had halogen headlights though...I don't even know if I could get them installed for my car if I decided to. I know people who like their cars should take pride, but when it's overdone, I don't go for it. Especially on simple cars like mine. I kinda laugh when I see a car that's the same make and model as mine with flames and crap painted on the sides, a huge spoiler, rims, when they make the lower-middle of the part lower by adding a piece (sorry, dunno what it's called). I just like cars that look cute and drive nice. I guess I'm really girlie that way
Yeah, the huge spoilers. Regular sized that you can get from the dealer....cool. But when they all curve up and stick up really high, I see no point I don't even have a spoiler and on windy days I feel it pick my car up a bit

LOL....people put spoilers on their cars like they race them and they need all that aerodynamic effects the wing has. Its the dumbest thing ever created....yea and "Whoop-de-freakin-do" you have a "race wing" : _________________

About you being forever a philly girl, go here: http://jdorama.com/viewtopic_3701_15.htm and check the 2nd post from me. Philly ain't all bad i guess, they have their 'frankin mills' going on. And another thing that peeves me about the 911 (this applies everywhere not just in Cheesesteak Capital) There are never there when you need them, but as soon as you go 25 mph over the limit, BAM! They are on you like sukebe-jiji's on panties!

Really? I never ever got stopped. I speed in Philly all the time (oops). I do see a lot of people stopped lately, but only in the mornings or really late at night when their either have a supreme case of boredom or they actually have to seem like they are working. F#@king loser pigs here, hate 'em. There are worse drivers than me.....I have a lead foot and a small car so that's my excuse.... I have road rage, people just pi$$ me off all the time on the road. Seems like the cops here do nothing overall.
Franklin Mills! I haven't been there in a long time. Like 3 years. It's a hike from where I live, probably a 45 minute drive. I would have to take the Boulevard (Roosevelt Boulevard) far up and I hate driving on that!! FM is barely in the city anyway, it's like Somerton I think. Somerton is the last part right before the Bucks County border...towards Bensalem, Neshaminy, etc. FM can be SO GHETTO. I don't frequent outlets much because I have to inspect the stuff I buy much harder than usual. Plus the people....ugh. It's always so crowded. I tend to find better sales in department stores nowadays anyway...
I haven't even been to the Gallery in a long time either. That was more of a high school thing because the train home passed through there, LOL. But yeah, that can be pretty ghetto too. My main mall is King of Prussia.

Posted: Mon Sep 20, 2004 11:25 pm Post subject: Customer Service Rant
Every place I called and went this weekend had such bad customer service. I went to Target on Saturday and there were lines of about 6-7 people waiting finally the manager opens a register and shouts next then proceeds to ignore us until he says $5.94 and walks away before I can pay him without explanation only to return about 2 minutes later. The phone company had me on hold for 20 minutes then disconnected me by accident and when I called back they complained about how busy it was. The lady at Albertons tossed the change into my wife's hand because she was busy complaining about some girl who got to go on break before her. So of course half the change fell on the counter and the floor which she ignored and continued complaining about how she works so hard and does not get a break.
Sorry for the rant had to say it though. Especially after watching doramas and thinking back to how excellent all the service was in Japan. _________________

I HATE BAD AMERICAN SERVICE. I almost cry everytime I have to go to an American airport--they try to make you feel stupid and belittle you. Detroit is HORRIBLE. Chicago's O'hara is a little nicer. Japan is so sweet everytime I come.
It's getting worse, it really is., America The thing that got me was people PLOPPING change into my hand or not looking at me when they took my money or gave me my change. That REALLY made me feel like they thought I was BOTHERING them to be at the store.
The only good service you can get in America is at The Disney Store where they are usually highly trained and get fired like no tomorrow for being off-the-mark. But that's just my experience of Disney and my friends who have worked for them.
Japan really doesn't have as bad a problem as America these days...
What about other places, what's the service like nowadays?

I hate that as well. Sometimes I can't even understand what they are saying because of the thick accent. Something that should be done in ten minutes end up lasting for twenty minutes because I coudn't work out what they were saying.
