1. Underrated [Rating: 10/10]
This is my favorite dorama to date. It deals with real-world problems that kids can face. The resolution of each issue is NOT through some flamboyant hero, superhuman abilities, or luck & external circumstances. It was through honest, gentle, caring people who can express their philosophies and view of life & growing up in a way that kids can understand... and the good part is that they did it without being too preachy which would have been a real turn-off. The main character is even kept down-to-earth because he makes mistakes too, just like you and me. I think even real teachers and parents can pick up on a lot of this.

2. CUTE KIDS ... & equally cute Kusanagi [Rating: 9/10]
Must say that my opinion of this show may be tainted by the fact that Kusanagi is my all time favourite but it IS a good show. For those who have watched the later teacher-student drama by domoto tsuyoshi, there are similarities but Kusanagi plays a simpler, more honest and "daft" character here. This episode where he was trying to clear the air with a student who had a crush on him was really cute. Kusanagi performed pretty well in this show, but admittedly the students are the real pillars man. If you have a penchant for cute kids and touching stories on evolving class solidarity... THIS is IT!!

3. Good script [Rating: 8/10]
Yo, this is a drama that teaches more than telling u story. i like the way kusanagi look into the character of each of his students. bear in mind it really exists in us so how i hope that there is such a pri skool teacher here. one who dont only looks at results but at the developement of the character

4. Fantastic and cute series [Rating: 10/10]
This series is packed with light hearted fun and really flies by. The interaction between Kusanagi and Ishida was really felt andthe kids were simply adorable. Shinohara was also very fun and cute in this.

One of my very favorite dramas

5. Really a cute drama [Rating: 10/10]
This was one of the first dramas I watched. It was a really fun story with adorable kids. I can't believe it seems not many have seen it.

At first, I thought it's like GTO for elementary school, with everything's more toned down. Most of the students were cute and I was so surprised at how well they acted in some scenes. Happily, the other teachers were not super annoying (like the ones in GTO) and the story's not soooo repetitive that it got boring. Shinohara Tomoe was scary to watch (i think she must've suffered tons of back pain from moving around like that) and the guy who keeps changing jobs is a terrible actor. This is my fave role for Kusanagi Tsuyoshi b/c it fits him well. Only sad part was that the stories weren't very continuous. Once a student gets an episode devoted to him and his story, he basicly gets dropped and we never hear much about him again. It would be nice if we can hear more about their stories later on. Oh, and it got really annoying with so many ppl saying "SENsei shiraNAIno?" all the time.

Another school series with a delinquent teacher trying to teach some middle school/elementary school students. Kusanagi Tsuyoshi does a good job in portraying the likeable teacher who is righteous and believes in individuality, however because of the lack of continuity in the storyline and the fact that the students in his class were a little annoying at times (no offense), I just couldn't really get into the series.

Each episode is disjointed and loosely tied only by the fact that the same teacher is in the classroom, in other words, the transitioning was very poorly done. Also the romance part of the story has a vague ending to it. All in all, it is a cute series, but not cute enough for me to recommend it highly (although I'm sure Kusanagi Tsuyoshi fans would love his character in it).

I love this show! The principal's daughter was so very funny. She was in love with Kusanagi's charactor. She always came up with something new and unexpected in her quest to get her 'dream teacher'. There was also another charactor who showed up in each episode each time with a new job! I also liked the episodes, the one with all the female students in love with the teacher is a classic. Another one with a grandfather who used to be Dracula in movies was one of my favorites! Need I say anything about Kusanagi? He was really good in this!

The teacher acted as if he really cared for his students. Yes, he was stubborn, but that made him a better teacher!

this drama is pretty gd but maybe i watched GTO b4 i touched this, so this pales in comparison although it's way more realistic..... n also maybe becuz i'm more interested in watching teens' probs than kids' probs.... one thing i have to mention is that all the characters r veri likable n tt's wat glued me to the show although i may be bored at the kids' probs.... n ishida yuriko looked great in the show although the hair n clothes really made her look outdated, cant blame them as it is a old drama :)

The casts are great, especially the class of students that Tsuyoshi was handling. Able to understand the inner feelings of his students, Tsuyoshi was able to turn the table around and transform their sadness to happiness.

I really like the warm-heartness of sensei ^v^ Who wouldn't like to have such a teacher ne. And it was nice to watch a dorama from time to time where the main plot isn't about love between man an women...

Fun but didn't really take me anywhere. I guess I was expecting more of a "lead up" plot... but Kusanagi is a charismatic leading man and many of the children were adorable (solid emotional actors too!)

Kusanagi shined in this with a nice cast of children. Although the other adults wasn't as motivating as Kusanagi, the show did move with some inspiration, but could have been better.

This drama is soooo good. Cheerful and enjoyable.
The kids are so cute and Kinoshita Sensei is the best teacher I could imagine.
If only this drama was popular like GTO. sigh*

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this drama. The children were charming and the SMAP star, Kusanagi Tsuyoshi was very charismatic with them.

Is GTO in elementary school. Another family oriented show. Kusanagi Tsuyoshi made a great teacher since he is always so clam.

Similar to GTO but with younger students and different problems. Really enjoyed the acting and the relationships among the teachers, principal, and his daughter.

Funny. I wish I have a sensei like Tsuyoshi... sigh....
