Ten years back, Miwa's friend committed suicide 'cos she couldn't stand the one whom she loved, Yosuke, getting along so well with Miwa instead of her. And this incident caused the whole town to put the blame on the couple, thus forcing them to break off. However, Miwa and Yosuke happen to meet again now. Though love still exists, the reality makes their being together impossible. Miwa is getting married soon, and Yosuke has then established a new relationship with another girl, Ritsuko. Unfortunately, Miwa's marriage is a failure, and yet she couldn't turn back till one day ... but it ends up hurting somebody again.

I had some problems being sympathetic to the plight of the main female character. If you are in love with some one else and get married to a really creepy dude through an arranged marriage, who you have never even slept with, you probably shouldn't be too surprised when he turns out to be a psychopath. And then if you decide to give him a second chance and end up pregnant with his demon child, it's now officially all your own stupid fault, sorry. A couple of other small points; I am okay with chance encounters, but every time this girl walks out her door, it's "Oh my God, I can't believe I ran into my former love......ten thousand times", and why is it that every older drama has to have the main male character play some stupid sport. I suppose they figure that they need romance to attract a female audience, and they better throw in some sports to attract a male audience as well. It gets old after a while. Without trying to spoil anything, I was somewhat surprised by the simplicity of the ending. There was a certain logic that was being presented that, if this were a modern drama, would have lead the characters the other way. I was glad to see it end this way, and that alone alowed me to not hate this series, but then again, it felt a little unresolved.

Love the theme song but it doesn't really match with the atmosphere of the dorama.
Anyway it is a 10 for this unforgettable dorama.
