You fall in love with the characters, the story line, the lessons in each episode that you can relate to your own life.

I've re-watched 1998 GTO over 10 times, and have visited some of the locations in Tokyo.

Best drama, and easy to see why it is ranked #1.
I wish there were more dramas like this, but I doubt any can top it.

I loved this Drama! It was very entertaining. Sorimachi Takashi, Was a awesome Onizuka! I find that he was able to capture the feeling of him. His looks fit the part as well.

Though, I felt that Fuyutsuki was changed a lot. She was super nice and kind.... in this one she kind of annoyed me bit. But in the end I started liking her again.

I highly recommend this to fans of the anime! It a must watch because it's very cheesy and funny.

I could give 8 for the storyline, good chemistry (lovely couple takashi-nanako) & brilliant acting. But I found many 'ecchi' things here, broke the high school image so I just gave 7.

Definately watch it! This drama is one of my all time best because it is very funny and touching. You will not regret watching this.

This drama is just simply cool. It was one of the first drama's that I watched so that alone gives it a special place in my rankings but that aside it still awesome. Although it is old it's not outdated. The Chemistry among the cast and story borrowed from the Manga are outstanding. At the end of each episode I could not wait to see the next one. Love love love this one.

While the shows lessons may not make sense in real life, they are always heart warming and inspirational. The drama is just as good, if not better than the anime, and offers a different look at the character. This is my favorite drama of all time.

GTO must be my #1 favourite Jdorama!!
everything in this movie is well made and how all the cast did a magnificent acting esp ofcourse takashi!
i recommend every1 to watch this drama and its soooo ADDICTIVE..once you watch one episode your eagerly want to go to the next one. THE BEST!!
