I loved the cast in this drama. Some of my favorite people are in this. It is a beautiful and moving drama that really had no slow parts at least for me. I felt the pace was perfect.

One of the better love stories

It's a cliche story line (with a bit of a twist ^^) but the 2 main leads pulled it off real well. Oda Yuji was really great in his role! Overall it has its funny moments, touching moments, tearjerker moments too- so stay tuned til the ending! I enjoyed seeing it through, especially with the great ost!!

Captivating show.

Unlike other dying illness dorama, this one ends with a happy ending. With the 80s music, the happy mood floats around you. Best time to watch this dorama is around november or early december. X'mas will never feel the same.

Last xmas was awesomeee

This is a must watch. ;] I'de say this is one of the last really good dramas out there if you've found that new dramas are totally bad and stupid.

Overly-cheesy but likable tale of a woman who is terminally ill BUT CAN BE SAVED???
Hilarious use of Wham! songs.

Lost Christmas

I like the romance-your-neighbor premise, but stretching a simple idea into 11 eps makes this dorama look like it's chasing itself like a dog chasing its tail. Nice music score and night photography.

Yada Akiko-chan kawaii!!

This dorama is kind of cheesy, but still a pretty touching story, and Yada Akiko is SOOOO cute! Definitely recommend it!

Gushingly Good

I love this drama purely because it appeals to every nature of my being. Not only are the actors incredibly talented, but we have a plot that revolves around a Christmas Theme.

This isn't just another story about a girl getting sick and finding comfort in a surprise lover. It's about creating a dream and fighting to keep that dream alive.

There isn't one thing I would change about this show. The end scene with all the various couples was a bit corny, but it was so corny that I thought it completely appropriate.

Oda Yuji and Yada Akiko have such brilliant chemistry that it's impossible not to love them both by the end of this show. All the supporting characters were grand, and I must single out Ihara Tsuyoshi. This guy was SO funny! He was the perfect comic relief.

All in all, excellent drama and highly recommended to all!

Yuuji-san played it as it was Tokyo Love Story. But the story is sure heart touching. About the ending, it really tricked me.

horray for yada Akiko

I think i'm a bit biased for liking this show since I didn't see tokyo love story before, I do enjoy christmas, and I'm a horrid Yada Akiko Fanboy ever since I saw yamato nadeshiko. But yeah... anyway the worst part of this show is probably the horrible Engrish in the opening song (Why lord why!?!?!). After I get past that, it's a subtly charming romantic comedy ;)

Good Drama!

Despite the age difference between Oda and Yada, the two seems to be able to work very fine together. You could definitely feel the chemistry between them.

The sub characters also worked hard in bringing the characters within their characters to life in this heart-warming drama.

One special note is the very good use of color contrasts and other filming techniques. I feel that the film makers deberately chose to decorate its settings in a very colorful way so to illuminate the atmosphere of the holiday seasons even further. A very good job on that department, since it's something that we don't normally see in Japanese dorama.

The plot may not be the best, but the actors and also the production makes up for it. I would recommend this to everyone.

very fresh dialogue and creativity. i'm new to japanese dramas and been seeing them recently and have grown interest through the originality and cast and wonderful crews.

it is a classical love story as tokyo love story

have all the elements of a great love story, diluted a little by too many couples (as compared to 2 in TLS). (both are by the same writer: http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Sakamoto_Yuki)

It's sweet, light-hearted. Taste like coffee with plenty of milk and sugar. It's sweet and smooth, but you probably don't want to have a second cup. (added: well, I watched it again last night.)

Again, the ending could be better (or bitterer).

I watched the ones with English subtitles, so probably didn't catch all the dialogue that relates to japanese culture and background.

it's christmas 2005. happy holiday (added: this morning I rushed into Walgreen to get a toothpaste. The theme song "Last Christmas" was playing in the store. You need to experience such great feelings to know how I feel. It was great!

A must-watch jdorama, particularly over the holiday season. The story moves along at a good pace with well-woven side stories intermingling with the main plot. A heart-warming jdorama acted out by a superb cast.

Love it!

This is the best Xmas dorama I've seen so far. The chemistry between the 2 leads are so good and the plot is fantastic. I'm inspired to go do Yellow Knief to see the Aurora Lights! Even my husband, who doesn't watch doramas liked this dorama, so, what else do I need to say? :)

Standard love drama

Quite standard love drama. Boring at times but the jokes are works of genius at times. Mirai was fun to watch.
