Even though the rights of women to be equally treated as men are quaranteed by law, it is still hard for women to compete with men. In this drama, a young single-mother who came back from New York challenges the sales department of a hotel with a strong will, and struggle to get over so many obstacles. As she tries to make her way up, she gets involved in love, hatred, and betrayal. New York. Toko Kamio (Yasuko SAWAGUCHI) graduates from the Columbia University Business School and acquires MBA with the support of Ryoichi Shirasaka (Ken TANAKA), whom Toko happens to get acquainted and falls in love with. Shirasaka works for the prestigious hotel group "Queen's Hotel" which is run by his wife Kanako (Yoko AKINO). She has fount out she is pregnant when exhausted Shirasaka commits suicide. Toko returns to Tokyo and tries to get a job at Hotel Takato. She wants to become a hotel woman because she wants to realize Shirasaka's dreams of making an ideal hotel, and also his wife Kanako, who finds out her husband's relationship with Toko and Toko's pregnancy, tries to ruin Toko's life. Hotel Takato is as good as Queen's Hotel, and Toko wants to be more successful than Kanako in business. A few months later, Toko gives a birth of a baby boy. She was not sure if it would be a good decision for her to have a child without a father, but she made up her mind when she found out Shirasaka had left a note with a child's name, Hajime. A few days later, Toko receives a letter from Hotel Takato which informs her of their accepting her. Now, Toko's new life has just begun. |
