Absolutely hilarious. I don't even know what to say. I spent most of the drama laughing. It's purposely bad and that's what makes it funny. It's amazing. There are so many famous actors and actresses, so many that makes you think "really, you're willing to be in something this ridiculous?!"

I still can't believe Oguri Shun was in this and my mind is still blown that Yamada Takayuki is the lead character. Ahahahaha!!

This drama is probably on a very tight budget! I see cheap props which we could make at home to make yokai.....Nonetheless, this drama is still funny, the acting sheepish beyond words. The plot will not appeal to those born after the millenium because all the episodes are making fun of what used to entertain us in the 70s and 80s.

A nine might be too generous as it's not the funniest thing I have ever watched but it's pretty unusual and had amazing nonsense moments for a jdrama. Especially recommended if you like whacky Monty Python humor. Kudos to the main cast for keeping straight faces trough out the show.

How much you like this is pretty much going to be based on if you play Japanese role playing games, Dragon Quest in particular. If you fall into that category this is going to be hilarious, if not then probably not so much so.

A low budget Japanese version of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". The writers and actors aren't as talented as the Pythons, but their heart was in the right place. It had its moments.
