| 1. | Great beauty and beast story [Rating: 9/10] The modern version of "101 proposals". I loved this drama from start to end. The lead male character Uchimura Teruyoshi may not be much eye candy, but his energetic acting more than makes up for it. This show is touching because of him. His unrelenting determination will surely touch anyone, well at least those who can bear with his looks for a few episodes. This show has humour, love, touching moments all packed together in one. Iijima Naoko and Uchiyama Rina both looked and acted great in the show. And the theme song "not found" sounded fantastic and totally blended in with the show, driving both the plot and emotions on. To anyone who can bear with a non good looking male lead, GET THIS SHOW. You won't regret it. | Reviewed by windrider on 29 June 2003 | 2. | Light, romantic and fun! [Rating: 9/10] A scripted drama, to be sure, but it was just what the doctor prescribed.
It was light, corny, and romantic. I love Iijima Naoko in any and all roles, and without a definite reason, I was strangely attracted to Uchimura Teruyoshi. Instantly. I was also not-at-all annoyed by Uchiyama Rina. Perhaps it was her young age that actually made her endearing.
The one iff I have is that the end, although necessary, wasn't convincing. I still didn't truly believe Natsuo's affection.
As well. Still a heart-warming drama that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. | Reviewed by Wynter on 13 January 2012 | 3. | Nice, but predictable. [Rating: 5/10] All of the actors and actresses did a good job, not taking anyting away from their performance skills, but it was too predictable for me, especially at the end, and I can unfortunately see elements from other dramas in this one which is something that I dont like to see in stories. Other than this it is an ok dorama to watch. Quite funny in some areas. | Reviewed by Reggie on 15 May 2004 | 4. | Surprised! [Rating: 9/10] I am so surprised that many people did not rank this very high so far. I thought it was very good.
Iijima Naoko, Teruyoshi Uchimura, and my favorite Uchiyama Rina were all wonderful in this story.
A story of love and changing of views on what is most important in life. | Reviewed by MonsterZero-65 on 13 November 2009 | 5. | nice! [Rating: 7/10] This drama is quite nice though I presumed it to be boring, it's not. Uchimura may not be the dashing kind of actor but he's a great actor. He brings the role to life. Iijima is also good in acting out the role of a working woman caught between two guys. | Reviewed by kawaii on 11 June 2001 | 6. | Unlikely but awesome. [Rating: 9/10] Though it is a bit unlikely I really enjoyed this story. It can be a bit slow but not terribly so and the cast is delightful. I really pulled for them to become a couple. | Reviewed by MonsterZero65 on 16 August 2010 | 7. | Cinderella + Musashi = Bus Stop [Rating: 7/10] Iijima Naoko is beautiful beyond belief in this dorama, which is a modern interpretation of a crossing between the Cinderalla fairy tale and Miyamoto Musashi story. | Reviewed by pcmodem on 12 October 2005 | 8. | Wish the bus hadn't stopped [Rating: 2/10] A bad remake of an overused theme. This unfunny comedy is like a shirt washed too many times: a sad-looking thing, discolored and misshapen. | Reviewed by shari on 2 July 2007 | 9. | Unlikely couple! [Rating: 7/10] Simple story line but with great acting jobs from the member of the case. Naoko Iijima looked amazing in the show.

| 1. | Comments by Lucian Dureau [Rating: 10/10] This is other of the doramas that I have pending to watch since 2004, it's starred by one of the three hottest actresses I liked more in that moment, that were: Norika Fujiwara, Eriko Sato and, of course, Naoko Iijima, who has the leading role in this bus show.
About the dorama, from the beginning I found that it was so exaggerated, ridiculous and maybe a wasting of time, however sooner than I thought I found myself beginning to laugh with it. It's a love comedy, quite funny, where a normal guy falls in love with a top carrer woman who is spending a tough time at the moment. Through his positivism he will have to fight for the love of his cinderella, and this is the difference with 101 Kaime no Puropozu, where the main character had to fight against his negativism to get to his love. As always in this kind of dorama the supporting roles are so important, having a crucial and important part in the story.
Iijima here is splendid, more than I expected, sexy and great actress at the same time, 10 points for her. Uchimura is a funny and good actor, his character alongside with the ones who surrounded him transmit positivism to the show. This is the typcal dorama that nobody would have to underestimate never. Finally, with the opening by Shiro and the ending by Mr. Children, this dorama has two superb theme songs. | 2. | Comments by jdfan [Rating: 8/10] The story reminds me of "101 Proposal" because of the beauty and the beast roles here, but it is funnier and the story-line goes deeper into the minds of the main characters. Iijima Naoko is good as the hard and snobbish career woman and she owns incredible collection of beautiful shoes (!) while Uchimura's bus-driver character is heart-warming. Simple story line but with great acting jobs from the member of the case. Naoko Iijima looked amazing in the show. Naoko is great as usual. | 3. | Comments by Cerebus [Rating: 5/10] Comedy romance about an idealistic bus driver a proud OL from different side of the tracks, who find lurve. Bit of a effort to finish this one through to it's inevitable conclusion. Mediocre at best, it's flimsy premise is stretched to breaking point. Uchimura Teruyoshi as the bus driver starts out endearing, but ends up being just annoying, and Yanagiba Toshiro is criminally under-used, although Iijima Naoko is stunning. | 4. | Comments by mornin_view [Rating: 9/10] the bus driver is so in love with natsuo... natsou played by Naoko Iijima no doubt she's really attractive in this show and also rina uchiyama veri cute. a veri memorable one so far i've seen especially the ring he gave her with ' my cinderella' in it and the theme song, not found by mr children is really nice too | 5. | Comments by Danji [Rating: 7/10] This show is very touching. A great show of romance, and how one should never give up pursuit of the one they love. Bus Stop caught my eye right away from the name. Then I fell for Rina Uchiyama. Then the rest of the cast became a group I began to look for. | 6. | Comments by loveaomori [Rating: 8/10] Good dorama. Nothing extraordinary but pleasant scenario. Musashi character is a bit too good to be realistic... Like the ending, I was thinking that it ill end at the church as usual etc... but this time no! that's a good point. Iijima is my type too! | 7. | Comments by DragonSpirit164 [Rating: 8/10] Hmmm... quite good but predictable romantic story. Well to do lady slowly but surely falls for a lowly bus driver who spares no effort and expense in wooing her. Good acting by the cast, but the story is a bit slow moving at times. Quite good overall. | 8. | Comments by saikokru [Rating: 8/10] Initally I thought this story was going to be rather dull, but I was honestly surprised. The unlikely career woman meeting a lowly bus driver reminded me of Yamato Nadeshiko. A similar idea, but quite a different tale, and just well acted by all. | 9. | Comments by Angry Machines [Rating: 7/10] God, how much I love Iijima Naoko, she's a goddess. She truly shines in this show, giving her a spotlight of stardom that she deserves. The show is funny and good, but kinda of dragged in some parts where it really needed some action. | 10. | Comments by michiru3 [Rating: 1/10] I've only watched 1 ep. Wasn't too interesting, so stopped. The girl lead is really mean! I don't like her attitude. But I understand her fustrastions at work. The guy lead seems bit stupid, but we'll see how things turn out. | 11. | Comments by dnie [Rating: 9/10] a love story between a high heel dedicated executive and a enthuthistic bus driver..well, looks like doomed relationship...but things happen and it comes to the end that other things does matter in love, not only materialism.. | 12. | Comments by rikastar [Rating: 8/10] I didn't have much interest in this but watched this when it showed on tv. The bus driver is so loveable and enthusiastic and I can believe that someone like Naoko's character will be attracted to him. | 13. | Comments by eltinator [Rating: 8/10] I want to give your life a ride! What a great drama that features Naoko Iijima at her best and a lovely supporting cast. This is one of those love stories that happens on TV :P Fun to watch! | 14. | Comments by uglymale [Rating: 8/10] Wow.. I wonder how many girls will fall for the line "I want to drive a bus for you forever". Held my attention till the end, however. Mr Children's theme song is excellent. | 15. | Comments by hitomi #1 [Rating: 9/10] A must see for Naoko fans, starts out as a light hearted romantic drama, turns quite serious over the 2nd half of the series, Musashi is a hero you can root for! | 16. | Comments by Spider [Rating: 8/10] Nice but predictable boy meets girl, boy likes girl, boy loses girl and boy gets back girl! Predictable but still nice and had a small charm to it! | 17. | Comments by aoi_dolphine [Rating: 7/10] An alright drama about romance found in a different senario of every day life. Typical of a male cinderella story with a twist of it's own. | 18. | Comments by Ushiroyubi [Rating: 8/10] Fantastic story... an "other side of the railroad tracks" type story. Iijima, especially, impressed me with her 'woman torn' character. | 19. | Comments by heimu [Rating: 8/10] It all happened on a bus stop, a honest bus driver and a working woman. Of course, how they eventually falled in love with each other. | 20. | Comments by nadrika [Rating: 8/10] Musashi was an endearing character. I remember watching this donkey years ago and rooting for him. Enjoyed this drama very much. | 21. | Comments by yanjun [Rating: ?/10] it din reely attract me at first bocz i din noe the actors/actresses. But it turned out that the plot was pretty good... | 22. | Comments by Geezer [Rating: 8/10] Just fun. Ordinary guy falls for high powered, drop dead gorgeous, career woman. And he gets her. Great fantasy stuff. | 23. | Comments by williu [Rating: 10/10] After rewatching this drama, all I can say is that it's definitely one of my favorites. It's just so good! | 24. | Comments by Wynter [Rating: 9/10] A blueprint drama, but it was still deliciously corny, romantic, and light to watch. A wonderful romance. | 25. | Comments by we!Rd^dUcK [Rating: 7/10] weird but still a good stuff... well, the story was not too heavy; sometimes funny and sometimes sad... | 26. | Comments by Yuxmania [Rating: 10/10] This drama is one of my favorite as i have watched this drama for more than 5 times in my life. | 27. | Comments by ryce [Rating: 7/10] I was only interested in the Uchiyama Rina side story... Not much replay value... | 28. | Comments by Anees [Rating: 9/10] I tought it might be dumb, but it's really quite excellent. It will touch you. | 29. | Comments by ct_subang [Rating: 7/10] hated iijima naoko init..so selfish...poor ucchan...but..the story as ok... | 30. | Comments by hina-sama [Rating: 6/10] Still watching at the moment.
But i can say it's funny and dramatic |

This is the one where I really wanted to learn Japanese because the jokes seemed like they were funny. So I've been learning Japanese for over two years now. I'd like to see it again with my current understanding of the language just to see if it's still funny. | 3. | Burnyourass this story is so good and the artistes are real good..the bus driver is very cute in the sense he's so simple...and he managed to win the heart of this lady...through all the trouble...whoa!i love this show=) | 4. | plethman There were some cool special effects in the fisrt few episode, but not in later episodes.
