i actually fell in love with chiaki in NC anime first .. and then after watching the dorama.. love him even more (can't imagine anyone else playing that role :mrgreen: ) and then started to love him as tamaki and watch his other dorama and movies. He even convinced me to watch other jdorama without him playing :P

hmm.. a friend of mine actually came up with an answer i can accept.. nodame didn't kiss him because she loves him so much that she didn't think pervy stuff (well u have to admit that nodame's character kinda pervy.. she even peek when chiaki took a bath..) when she hypnotized him.. it determined his future whether he can go abroad or not.
