I also can't stand the shows involving inseperable twins/brother-sister incest like shows :doh: you know the ones where they go "oni-chan!" all the time.

but yeah, if you happen to like it that's ok. but don't get mad when others don't. It just happens all the time in IRC channels/forums. Like in the gaming thread recently :hehe:

- theres no words to describe samurai champloo (points at my avatar) not bec. im a fan of mugen's voice (who did the voice of zoro from one piece) i also like how he breakdance in the show, the hiphop music, the artists, the producers and songwriters, the production and everything else is awesome.

- hmm what else to say...., i miss watching old animes, just got a hold of Voltes V (late 1970s) from ebay.. its pretty expensive tho :sweat: geez, i remember some dude promised he'd upload everything and beam it to me through streamload n he didnt even do it.. sheez what an ass. :grumble:

Mugens seiyuu is great. I loved the characters - it's fresh how they managed to combine hiphop with samurais. the soundtrack is awesome, I think it's the most played album(s) on my iPod.

as for ripping/upping to Streamload: it's dreadful work, not the uploading, but the ripping alone takes lots of time when you have many seperate episodes +the subs. Movies are ok though.

Paranoia Agent was nice though, I thought I was the only one who liked it.

Talking about old shows, I was really thrilled about Galaxy Railways last year, it's totally old style drawn - Leiji Matsumoto: he also did the Daftpunk music videos + movie :woot:

that wasnt a problem when he sent me 44 episodes of Daimos. the subs is no problem either since its dubbed in english, well a promise is a promise, i wouldnt mind if he at least tells me that hes lazy or cant do it. =T

I never lend things to people anymore, I'll end up getting them back (that's IF I'm getting it back) after a year or 2. I usually don't even remember anymore when people decide to return them...

So when people come over, I'll just make a copy. this goes for anything, from music to movies to anime :beaten: my sisters seem to love stealing my cd's too, whenever I go visit them and I see their cd collection, I go like: hey isn't that mine? :doh:

Just watched One Piece 2,3,4: I'm getting there :hehe:

Im very partial to Yaoi animes. ;)
Gravitation though is just a great anime, yaoi or not.
I have an extensive collection.
If you like old anime you should take a look at my list.

Urusei Yatsura is a huge favorite of mine. Early Rumiko Takahashi.

I've just started reading the Kare Kano Manga and think its pretty funny and good too, but I want to know if they have this for anime and if so, does anyone know where I can find this to download?

I like it. Its a good romance/comedy. No pervertedness in it so far, but thats ok, its something I would recommend to a friend who like romance/comedy :victory: The art.....I don't mind, its as good as Fruits Basket, but its good. If you check it out, I think you'll like it :mrgreen:

lol yeh that'd be great if you live closer, ive been watching anime since i was 6 and how old i am now?? in the mid-20s :mrgreen: do you like mechas as well? i guess ill watch anything except gundam.. i know thats been ongoing for a long time and i lost track with the new releases.

I do some Mecha. Big O was rather fun. And Infinite Ryvius quite intense. But in general its not my favorite. I prefer shoujo or fighting anime.

*falls outa his chair: OMG! Seikai no Senki III OVA 01-02 was just released by ANBU. :woot: :dancing: I so loved the first series, it's in my all time favorites top 5. GO GET IT!

I am recently watching Kidou Shinsengumi Moeyo Ken. I was just surfing channels when I came along this ETTV channel which was showing this anime. Since I have nothing else to watch then I tried to watch it and it was good. More of a funny theme than those usually serious Shinsengumi series. For those Shinsengumi fans out there try to watch this anime. Not that spectacular as Rurouni Kenshin but still worth a watch :)

I'm reading one of my brother's manga called Yotsuba&!
Its done by the same person who did Azumanga. I don't know if there is an anime for this one yet, but I like the manga, its really funny :rofl:


Just wondering.....should this be turned into an Anime/Manga thread or should there be a separate thread for Mangas (if there isn't one already)
