:hehe: i imagine so as well, i'll probably start up on anime again in the new year as the number of doramas for me to watch start to decline. possibly even korean dramas/movies - they are rather different in style

i know too many koreans...if i want korean dorama...it's only a fone call away.

man, ergo proxy stumbled like a drunk bum on wet cobblestones toward the end...


the philosophical underpinnings were too convoluted for most (myself in cluded) and the storytelling deficient. it wasn't all bad but it could have been better if they addressed the defects in the story...


should have called it "engimatic proxy."

If anyone is interested, and hasn't seen this before: This place has LOTS of subbed anime available. Looks to be quite busy and there's a few rules, but it might be a good place to find something you're looking for:

going to give Ichigo 100% a try.
Brother burned it and said it was pretty good. Cousin said the manga was a lot better.....

i recommend I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs if you haven't seen that one. it's not as ecchi, and has a nice/touching ending.

I enjoyed that one too!

Currently watching Slam Dunk for the 4th time round. :victory:

On ep 39, after successfully hooking my boyfriend on sports anime. :woot:

Has anyone seen WHISTLE yet? I'll need another sports anime next and we've already seen Hajime No Ippo.

(Also watched an ep. of New Angel :hehe: :beaten: )

Yup. I've seen whislte! Collectin the Manga as well.

Its not bad. Haven't seen Captain Tsubasa, so can't compare these two soccer anime and let you know which one is better or has more soccer action :beaten:

finished Ippo and the movies a few weeks ago, i have Whistle on DVD somewhere, but i haven't watched it yet.

no time for anime right now.. must destroy bangaa....

Ichigo 100% is starting off rather good.

Couple things i noticed so far
1. opening song sung by Dream :woot: :woot:
2. Voice Acting for Komiyama is the same guy who did voice acting for Onizuka in GTO anime :rofl: :rofl:

I thought Capt. Tsubasa was a bit boring. Glad to hear Whistle might be good.

yeah.. i like that style of anime where the characters end up w/ cat-like faces. :lol:
it's a pretty good story, no stupid filler arcs, or other lame overused anime cliche plots.

I think Ippo looked a bit like a cow at those times. THose nostrils crack me up. And I agree, I thought the story line was strong.
And I thought Takamura was delightful. THe locker room scenes were quite amusing. :rofl:
And now its back to Slama Dunka.
