One of my favorite Miyazaki films... :)

It has warmth and charm, it's wonderfully animated and an excellent soundtrack (I even bought the OST CD)...

A gem of a movie. :applaud: :victory:

Almost done watching The Third... A little hard to understand the plot/main story (probably needs a second viewing), but I'm enjoying it and the animation is pretty good. :)

Wouldn't you know it: I mentioned that I downloaded Nodame to my niece and now she wants me to download Nodame - Paris as well...

And so you should!! :applaud:

Its well worth it! ;)

And now Im off to watch the aforesaid anime. ;)

Done with The Third... The ending got a bit too philosophical and was trying to make a statement... And I need to re-watch it in the near future. Several episodes looked like they changed anime artists, as the artwork didn't look as good/consistent... Still overall, I liked it...

I'd give it an 8.5/10. :victory:

FInished Nodame PAris.

In some ways I liked it even better than the first. The animation was much more fluid not filled with still frames. Wish it was longer though. Only 11 episodes. :puppydog:

Thanx, deseipher!!

Nodame's character becomes broader in the next series.

You could skip to the next.......

But I wouldnt.... ;)

One thing I noticed: the voice actor for Nodame sounds like a 12-year old... It's sorta irritating.

Nah... I've resigned myself to getting through this anime. :victory:

While it does lack the charm, charisma and utter cuteness of Juri-chan, I'm sure you'll find the anime version to be enjoyable when you're done watching. :victory:

Eve, glad you enjoyed the Paris Chapter and I do wish it was longer as well.

I'm through three episodes and there are some funny moments, but they always have me thinking back to the live action... :beaten:

Also, I'm not used to some of the apparently common anime expressions like the blank eyes, sweat droplets, and grouped vertical lines.... :headscratch:

EDIT: How did you like/dislike Kiki?

Episode 5, Nodame Cantabile... It's getting better. :victory:

But still not the live action.

Youre gonna to like the story line though.

I hope. :fingerscrossed:

Checked out a couple eps of BEck. Actually got more into the dubbed version? :headscratch: which is unusual for me.

On ep 52 of NAruto SHippuden.... The story is cranking right now. I like the new member of Team Kakashi, Sai. Very cool!

One thing I found rather distressing:
Spoiler — click to revealStresseman is sorta portrayed as a near-pedophile, not just a dirty old man in the live action version...

Thanks again Eve! :victory:
