I have seen alot of old animes like Rurouni Kenshin, Cowboy Bebop, GiTS The First movie, Fushigi Yuugi as well as a huge list of classics like Macross(Robotech) and the Gundam Wing saga and even Gundam itself.
But I have noticed that the new generation of anime is a bit BETTER than ever before! I mean with hits like Last Exile and GitS: Stand Alone Complex as well as Chrno Crusade and such...animes seem to be getting better.
Oh yeah, has anyone watched Cosprayers? Its an anime about these Japanese girls who transform into pretty priest cosplay girls or something like it. Think of it as the next Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon.

Doramafan113 cool u got tenchi muyo.... royoko (is dat how to spell her name) is my fave charc and she the funniest in the anime. OAV is better then tenchi in tokyo, dat was a lil bit boring

Ranma, I'd say, is probably the greatest anime IMO. Truely oldskool. I love the randomness with all the great characters like Ryouga who always gets lost, Shampoo with her broken Japanese, and Happosai the OG perv. :hehe:
My favorite anime is Slumdunk, One Piece!, ragnarok the animation! and Samurai X! this anime's really fun!! specially the slumdunk! it's so funny! :rofl: specially HANAMICHI SAKURAGI!! a player with a lot of Fouls!!! wahahahahah :rofl:

But GTO is a very good series but its just a bit too perverted at times. I mean Onizuka is ALWAYS trying to get laid...its humorous though! In a sick way.

One Piece looks okay...I guess. I only seen the manga and all but the art style isn't my taste. I like the stuff that CLAMP makes mainly or something like Last Exile.
I hated Love Hina too...now that was eechi. A bit too much panties in that comic. Sorta like Chobits but with MORE.

Fushigi Yuugi, pissed me off. I hated Miaka and Yui just as much as the following person here stated. That series was nice to look at but hearing Miaka screams of rape or whatever in the series made me sick. Everyone loved her but she was just an average annoying girl. -_-
Inuyasha was follows the same *annoying* anime girl pattern as Fushigi Yuugi... Kagome MAKES ME SICK.

i agree with one piece's artstyle, but i dont care about that, as long as the story is good its pretty much worth it for me, an anime would be nothing if the story is pointless even if the production is high quality. OP is exciting as much as Naruto is.. i guess i love them both. :mrgreen:
