Whats this one all about???

I just finished the first three episodes of Samurai7.

Ripping :hadoken: :hadoken:

I love a good fighting series and this looks very promising so far.

Its the old Seven Samurai story, always a strong premise.

Oh, and Kanbei-Sama is way cool!! :smitten:

took this description from animenfo:

In the far future, there are seven cities located on a planet. Each of them are independent from each other and formed countries because there is no other life on the planet other than those seven cities.

The story takes place in one of the cities called Judo. Judo is a floating artificial city build on the sea roughly 30km on its diameter. City administration tower located in the center with large skyscraper residences around it. The south area of this city is a slum where most of crimes take place.

Speaking of crime, Daisuke Aurora is the city safety control officer. His job is to preceive any incidents and prevent them before they happened. On the surface he looks as a person with sense of justice and humanity, however he's actually taking out crimes because of his father, a politician, who was assassinated by terrorists. Luckily, he has a partner, an android called Jay (R-JAJA000106)

pretty good series so far, at ep 8 now

Hi Felinewong`
Have you seen the entire series? Just watched another 3 eps, now on 6.
I was hoping that Ryuuzou would join them but since he is blond I figure that he wont. Anyone notice that there seems to be a trend with blond villians in anime?
Like Nakako in Fushigi Yugi. Although Saint Seiya's hero is blond....
But still.....

Just finished watching Chrno Crusade. I liked it a lot. Had a similar, but darker, feel to Scrapped Princess, which I liked also. Chrno Crusade had one of the most pessimistic "happy endings" I've ever seen tho.

I watched the first few eps of Ah My Goddess the TV series. Jeebus, they totally ruined one of the best anime ever with this. The original OAV was just a classic. But in this day and age, the TV series is extremely generic and the characters are just so blah. I don't understand why they needed to make this TV series in the first place.

I totally agree totally.
I liked the OVA, but I only watched the first few episodes of the TV series, bleh.
The "movie" was decent though.

I didn't like the movie either. Thought it was kind of boring. Though its way better than the TV series.

:) Thanks

I like Shura no Toki. I'm generally not big on fighting animes, but I think they did this one well. The fight scenes are pretty well choreographed, so that they seem more realistic than the usual stuff.
