is it just me, or any of you guys realized that the brain-dead Hibari girls stopped saying "HI-BA-RI FOOOUR!!!" after the second episode???
why is that?
is it because the creators of the dorama got sued by Hard Gay? coz the "FOOOUR" (that sounds like "FOOOO...!") sounds so Hard Gay.

Actually I wondered why they stopped saying it also... lol I have no clue if they were sued... But yes the show is very very funny and the soundtrack is really really good and suits the scenes amazingly. Nakatsu rocks! :woot:

surprise appearance by SMAP's Goro. i kinda don't like the whole accusing thing. it was a bit too much. with no proof at all. it should've made both the students and Goro's character look good. but in the end, it just made the students look good with all that friendship stuff. Goro's character in the other hand, just became... 'normal' . not special. i mean, from the first episode until this one we've been shown this good-side of the students, the friendship side, all the time making this episode not so different from the other. not to mention it was a bit pushing things too much

Yeah the Goro teacher situation seemed pretty out of place and didn't have much premise but in the end yeah it just showed how close everyone was, which was nice.
lol yeah once a drama is over, everyone assumes that everyone's seen it so they neglect to put in spoiler tags. i had to not visit inoue mao or hyd threads while watching it unfortunately...

I finished it but I haven't talked about it with anyone. My best friends too busy with her life and all that other stuff to worry about TV shows and stuff. So its just me and only me watching these then I don't talk on here much at all. =/ Kinda feel outta place at times. So I hang around on other sites and watch JDramas like Stand Up. Well, I finished episode 8. Dunno when 9 will be out.

that would've been one of the biggest surprises in the ending. Dang, what is up with people thinking that once the show is over everyone's seen it. spoiler tags p-l-e-a-s-e...

okay i'm giving it an 8/10

the story was skin-deep. nothing special. not so connected either. And you have to admit that Maki's character's reason to go to Ohsaka Highschool is stupid. it's cute/sweet and stuff, but still stupid. but this dorama is definitely memorable. you'll still remember the characters once it ends.

Very surprising was Ikuta Toma's convincing akting. thumbsup to Ikuta Toma. I've never liked Horikita Maki so whatever. okay, she deserves credits for acting as a guy. But i thought she wasn't that convincing. anyone would've known she was a girl without needing to touch her vajayjay.

The boys going to California was mentioned in the last episode from the flyer, but I think what most people were talking about was the possibility of the SP and them going there in the SP.

I think maybe the story seemed a little silly at times due to it not totally following the manga(i havent read it but i suspect this might be a reason why). I agree, the drama is very memorable and I still want more and listen to the OST often. I found myself really attached to all the characters.

I really enjoyed Toma's acting. He brought a ton of life to the drama while Shun was giving the cold shoulder for the first part of the drama and continued throughout.

Yeah she wasnt that convincing as a boy by about the middle of the drama(kind of stopping trying to cover it up) but I'm thinking that by that point, every guy had accepted her as a guy. However, I wouldn't really have wanted to watch a not so cute girl who looked more like a boy... it might've just been a little weird/gross. Ella from the Taiwanese drama definitely looked way too boyish. I can barely tell she's a girl. More like an It, really (androgyny in it's finest lol).

I'm not too keen on re-watching dramas but I would definitely rewatch this one a bunch if I ran out of stuff to watch. This one really is one of my favorites so far. Possibly my number one. :victory:

well, its very very very funny.. its interesting.. it has a great story ..and super actors Like Shun, Hiro and Toma! Of course sometimes the actors exaggerate way too often but you get use to it XD I am so glad that Toma could prove here that he is a great actor >_< finally he got the chance to show his acting skills <3 Shun is one of my fav. actors since STAND UP!! (2003) so I was sure he will be awesome like always ^^ and Hiro is not only very handsome but also talented!
WELL its definitely one of my favourites of 2007.

LOL. yeah i guess you're right. it'd be gross if she did look too much like a boy. But i still think she has this depressing kind of feeling thing. I dunno. Just feels that way.

exactly. plus Maki has been super busy with a ton of other things at the moment so i seriously seriously doubt she could have shot it already if there were to be a special.

^^oh also, when they did the scene of her at her house in "California", it wasnt actually California if you didnt know already. I'm shot sure if they would actually send people there or just try to replicate it somehow, like they did for that scene.

Just finished the drama, I loved it. ^^ I hope there will be a special though...the ending does hint it a little. :hehe:
