Sousuke should die in pain, what a psycho.

Spoiler — click to revealSomebody should throw him in front of a bullet train, stop it, back it up over his corpse, and then detonate the car right on top of him so we can have this pretty picture:

Hmm, cori-chan said she was probably giving LF a 10/10... I MUST"VE been watching a different drama.

Wow. Yeah.. Maybe we were watching Lastu Flendues? I dunno.. I'd be really hard pressed to give it a 7 if I were rating it today.

Have I been watching the wrong show?

I'm sure she has her reasons to give the show a 10/10, but I'd like to know what she sees in the show that warrants such a high score. Perhaps she sees something I've completely missed out on, or fail to understand and appreciate.

himesayu also currently has it at 10/10. Perhaps we're missing out on some of the 'subtleties' which make it so wonderful.

I really don't mean to sound mean.. but eek.

Dang, they must be watching the "Sosuke-Free" version... 100% less DV and no aftertaste.

why not 10/10? I would give it a 10/10... cos compared to all the other dramas this season, LF is defnitely the better ones... but of course with compared to all the J doramas in the database, it probably only gets 5/10

Haha! You got me all wrong! Sorry. I gave it a 10/10 because and only because of Juri-san. At the time I made the ratings(it's not current.. hehe), I was currently very obsess and was really amaze to see Juri-san in a very different role from Nodame. Didn't you notice that all the drama I pick(except for Hana Yori Dango 2) was Juri-san's? And I gave all of it a 10! I was just playing with it at that time because I love Juri-san and I want something on my "My Dramas" list. I wanted to be "IN" somehow. :hehe: I'm not the type who over analyze stuff(since I'm not very good at it), and just enjoy watching. So 10 is equal to either amazing, "I like", "it was good", etc. as long as it's positive(and as long as it's Juri's movie/drama). I'm also being biased. Haha! Hope that saves me. :D

Well then you should average the two... 7.5/10. :beaten:

That's like saying the 49ers are the better Bay Area football team, or Kevin Federline is the better parent because he won the custody battle over Britney Spears

If I'm going to give it a rating right now, I would still give it a ten.

Reasons.
- Because it has Juri-san and with an award-winning role as Ruka.
- Me like the story because it's new to me.
- This is the first and ever drama(I mean literally a drama, serious, brutal and stuff) I've have ever watched and actually planned on finishing it. Usually, I bail out because I usually like to watch comedy and seriously not interested in serious ones.

Still, I'm still very biased because it has Juri-san. :beaten: Sorry.

Hehe, I'm biased too when it comes to Juri-chan. I will watch a show if Juri-chan is in it and it automatically starts out at 10/10, but an actor or actress is only as good in a role as the material given to them. Sadly, this is where the drama fails, despite the potential it has with issues such as domestic violence and gender identity.

So MUCH potential! Hmm.. My own view on this is that I would have "LOVE" Last Friends if I didn't read all this expectations from other watchers. They are speculating so many things after just watching one episode which I think is natural for good critics. But that leads them to being disappointed because their expectations was not meet. I don't have that kind of expectations that's why I'm ok with everything so far. The only thing I could think of that they did wrong is that they put too much in the drama and it "seems" like everything will not be resolved in a very justifiable manner in the end. I don't know. I still like it though(biased!). The drama was a roller coaster of emotion for me. I will be with this drama till the end! Even if the ending sucks. Of course I will also be disappointed if all didn't turn out well because this drama has so much potential. But I still can't do anything about it. I'll just let it be. So many BUTs. :bleh: Really not good at this. Haha!

Sometimes it's nice to be able to view something like you do, where you just watch without too much expectations, regardless of how seriously a show presents itself to be. It's not often I do that, and perhaps it does have a negative effect where I don't enjoy a series because I'm too critical of it.

Well, I think that's one reason why I don't like to be so critical about a drama. It's not that bad to be critical though. It's makes this drama the more interesting to me. Everyone's speculation is a really nice read.

Despite all this, it's still getting so much attention, that's for sure! :victory:

As of now I give this dorama a 7. Personally a show getting a 9 or 10 usually is a rewatcher which in this case LF is not. I may up it to 8 if the show ends in a bang.

now i confused ,the episodes now back to 12
check drama-wiki
,maybe there more things to do for
some character like takeru.

Your entitled to your opinions, and I'm sure most of us will agree to that. However, question: how can you call something a 10/10 perfect if you yourself can point out flaws? Wouldn't that reduce the overall score then?

I'd say more, but I gotta get ready for work (when I get to the office, I'll jump back on like I always do, hehe).

It's all about balance. Sometimes you can spend far too much of your time being critical and forget to enjoy what you're doing. I sometimes do that.

I've learned that I can point out all the flaws of something I really like.. and still like it (see my review for Orange Days - it'll continue to be a favorite.. but it wasn't nearly perfect)
