from what i know... a japanese edn single in HMV costs about SGD$23...
for the second qn... sad to say.. HMV take quite a long time to stock in the new releases from japan!! ! there's once i wanted a m-flo single and it took one month plus and then i got the single :grumble: ... but too bad... i don't have a card... so gotta depend on HMV :shamefulcry:

erm maybe you can try to buy cds online at http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/
but i'm not sure if the cds sold there will be cheaper then yesasia... :beaten:

emyLi, thanks for clearing me up. A Single cost about $30+ from Yesasia including shipping charges. Come to think of it, the list price of Japan single is 1000yen which is about S$15. And I had to pay twice the price which is quite unreasonable for me. :shamefulcry: I remember that in the late 90s ,HMW will bring in the new release mostly within 1 week after Japanese release. In recent years they bring in the new release 2-3weeks and even up to 1 months after Japanese release. And I hate to travel down HMW so many times and feel dissapointed and empty handed everytime... Just wanted to share some my thoughts =T

hmmm you should buy it at HMV next time then.. yesasia is so expensive!! the late 90's is when JPOP is really popular in singapore!! everyone was listening to japanese songs...that's maybe they are efficent during that time.. but not anymore :puppydog: but don't feel so disappointed and empty handed :mrgreen:
i'm happy that at least we can still get to buy jpop stuffs in singapore~ although it'll take longer but the wait is worthwhile! :victory:

Limited and Normal Editions only happen in Johnny's Released CDs and DVDs...

It's one of those marketing stratagies they do to gain higher on the music charts (Some may find it sneaky, but those marketing people who work for JE are very smart)

And JE makes the CDs slightly differnt so fans often have to buy both versions to get everything....

Sneeky but oh well.. (That's why alot of times, when JE stuff are released... they go so high up on the music charts... If I'm not mistaken I think both versions are counted as one, not two seperate versions)

Can't you call HMW up before you make your long trip down to them? Call them and order it before you go down so your trip won't be wasted.......

Stores, no matter where, are always happy to save things for you... They usually save the copy for you for at least a week or more, as long as you tell them, you definitly want it... and if you can't make it right away... Tell them and they will keep it.. It's happen to me before....

I did call a few times but I did not told them to keep a copy for me. I just ask whether the new CDs had arrived. But there was times when I they told me that the CD had been sold out when I was there. Nevermind bout that. Did u guys even purchase at this misc*exclusive(sp?) which is also at Hereen? I bought there once but they seem to only import limited copies so the CDs sold out very fast. Does anyone of u bought from there before? If yes, how is the prices(I forgot how much I paid there) and the time they take to have the new release in stock. Thanks for clearing my queries :say_thanx:

Anniversary is the G concert. Coz F album concert is called Kinki Kids F Dome concert (Fun Fan Forever).

As for getting cd, I usually ask my friend to get it when they are going Japan coz i am rather lucky that somehow or rather there is someone going to Japan during the time where cd are been released.

anyway i needed help on this...

did you guys know of any FREE programs to edit videos or conversion of formats to recommend? i mean some programs said that they are free for d/l but when you use it said can only convert 60% only...or worse still... some of the allows you to convert to other formats to 100% but after conversion there's actually a ugly tag in the centre of the video asking to 'remove the tag by registering the product'---> which means to buy :grumble: i need a program which can convert files to diff formats...
any help is greatly appreciated!! :mrgreen:

Actually Font De Anniversary is not G concert, there is a G concert before Font De Anniversary but no DVD or VCD is release because from what i know, all Johnny's artistes will release their concert DVD/VCD once every two years (except for SMAP) Hope this clarifies~ :mrgreen:

I have read in other thread's abt misc*exclusive, it seems that they will consolidate the shipment & you wun get ur cds early even if u order them in advance. As for the pricing i'm nt too sure though :shakehead:
