Synopsis
The story follows a brain surgeon named, Minakata Jin, who falls into a "time slip" that sends him back to Edo during the Bakumatsu era, the period that spelled the end of the shoguns' rule over Japan. There, Jin ends up using his 21st-century medical expertise to help the people, who are suffering from various epidemic illnesses from the time, with the help of the modern medical knowledge of his era.

This is something I could enjoy. I like sci-fi and Nakatani Miki.

Looks to be a Japanese spin of A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court.

Just saw the first episode. Really high quality production and definitely a promising start. It's been awhile since I've seen such an engrossing first episode!

Also, I was surprised by Osawa Takao's charming smile. The man just gets better with age~ <3

The cast alone is very interesting! :)

I missed the premiere and I forgot to record it. :doh: This seems interesting to check out.

I'm a happy Nakatani fan. A fan group has decided to sub Jin.

I would have been pumped to see this show just to get the chance to see Miki in a drama again. But man... the whole cast is outstanding.

Great! Which fansub is subbing this? Just my most anticipated shows from the new season, besides Fumou Chitai and ROMES.

Finished it last night - no my friend, there wasn't even an inch of naked skin - except for the main character Jin :beaten: .

First episode is very intriguing but a bit on the melodramtic side which I don't like.
