i also played chrono cross on a ps emu, got all the way to the final stage or something, and then my computer chrased, ahven't played it since... :shakehead:


i still pray that some people will make ff6 and chrono trigger with completele new graphic, but the exact same history, cast and worldmap.

Started playing Final Fantasy X-2 again. I got really busy the first time I played it and never finished it. I figured it was better to start all over after having stopped for 4 months.

Started on Nebula: Echo Night

lol... but he changes as the game goes on.. becuase of his relationships with the ppl around him.. and I LOVE THAT GAME its my fave FF.... and if ya notice he doesn't even care what happens ..its all his companions who make him do all that stuff.. they're all like "come on squall we have to do this..." or "hey squall u just gonna stand there?.. we gotta rescue ..." ya know?... i actually like squall... not ur typical hero.... it is kinda stupid that all these girls want to "do" him.. and what does he do!?... he blows them off... that's one part io didn't like.. i was like "dude WTF?... ur teacher is HOT! go for it"... sorry i get all into that game.. lol XD

anyway no i don't work for the gaming industry i wish i did it seems fun... anyway one of my friends used to work for KBtoys so he knows how to apply.. and he's also a big CROOK!.. so yeah what did was he took like our information..name social phone#..address (there were like 8 of us) and he simply took one of his friends (who still works at KBtoys) paycheek..photocopied each of our names onto it...and he did a bunch of other crap... anyway he gott us all in for free..in fact in my E3 tag its says kb salesperson.. but i've never worked there in my life!..

Haha... My friend did the same. Another friend worked for a video game packaging company and a few of the Asian guys couldn't go, so they came up with a scheme to scan their ID but change the photo, print it and laminate it. Interesting thing is that show the badge quickly to reg. and that was enough and you were in.

I was going to ask one of the guys at shoryuken.com to make me a stick but I go back and forth of thinking of doing it or not doing it. I'm busy as it is but it seems when I do hang out with friends, we're always competing at fighting games. Right now, we're still trying to master our own characters at "Soul Calibur II". Our main thing is finding ways to beat our friend who competes at evo. Like how to beat his combination on Marvel vs. Capcom, SFIII, his Xinghua on Soul Calibur III with his AAB combo.

As for arcade stick, I was going to get a MAS but for my config, it was going to cost about $150 and I figured, I could get someone to make it cheaper. Then an X-Arcade but people complained about that. Then I wanted to get a XBOX red-octane for $29 but they sold out.

So, I'm still using a PS2 PAD, Dreamcast controller (my friend's use Hori) and the XBOX S-Controller and my Pelican Real Arcade (because I wanted an arcade stick that's universal). hehehe...

But I'm not a hardcore gamer like my friend. He studies the game faqs and hardcore into hanging out with that community and uses terms like "top tier" and lingo and all that.

I look forward to DOA Ultimate, the Street Fighter 15th Anniverary coming out soon, SNK vs. Capcom and Tekken 5.

I would like that if they also updated the gameplay a little. Chrono Trigger isn't so bad, but Final Fantasy 6 puts me to sleep after I get past the nostalgia factor.

i totally agree !!!! i bought my PS for the ffVIII game. DECEPTION !!! left it accumulate dust for a couple years but i restarted a game recently cuz many friends told me its a great game and that the character evolve later. I decided to give it another shot. Finished the 1st CD. maybe i should start the 2nd tonight ^^ about relationships, i also agree, quitis is HOT ! Rinoa gets on my nerve, more than the over joyful Selfie. Anyway, its just my opinion, dun wanna start a war on who's the best character in the game :P

god, chrono cross is still a game that i have to play. rpgs just seem to take up tooo much time.

Okay guys, one more week to go for Evo! I just finished ghetto-rigging the Agetec I bought from my friend for $20 (!!!) by putting an 8-way resistor instead of that annoying stock 4-way one. Actually, the only thing left to do is to make the spring a little tighter because it's way too loose for the way I hold the stick. Also, I put a bat-top on it since I still suck at using ball-tops. I don't know how the Japanese do it. :hehe:

@kndy: As far as joysticks go, you should get this one. High quality Japanese arcade parts in the comforts of your own home. And if you want to use it for Xbox or DC, I'm sure there are converters out there. This stick is seriously the best bang for your buck. I'm considering getting one of these after I sell off my joysticks after Evo.

Trying my best at Simcity Rush hour right now. Can't seem to get those really big skyscrapers (the ones they call stage 8). I want to see one of thsoe without using cheats so i guess its gonna take a while for me to do it.

A VF god, Kurita, is the only known japanese player to be confirmed so far for the EVO2004! Expect more players to appear as the event gets closer. VF Evo feels a bit inferior at the event since another upgrade of the game, VF Final Tuned, has been released in Japan. Can't wait to see the results of the event :) Will the Japanese own this year or the title goes to the non-japanese? hehe

kndy-nt2099, who are you on shoryuken.com, because I have afew buddys that are on that site.


I'm probably just going to watch it on cable TV if they put it on, that is.
