Spain v Germany has all the makings of being a classic.. Its sad that David Villa might not be playing in the final.. We all like to see the teams at full strength battling against each other.. Hoping for a great final and may the best team win (and hopefully that would be Spain :) )!

about 2 more hours to go and I am already a bit nervous  . I will watch the game at home though, not in a bar, as I had a long night out last night.
*gets her Spanish flag out and hugs it*

Oh good. I wanna see the teams healthy....too bad Spain's David Villa is out...but Fabregas is starting in his place I think....he's been playing really well, so I don't think the Spanish side should suffer too much without Villa.

Spain definitely deserved to win the match but that was one of the most boring matches of the ENTIRE Euro Cup tournament. It was so lopsided it didn't even seem competitive....and the one goal, was a lame goal at that.

In any event, congrats to the Spanish side; they dominated throughout the tournament.

I have to agree even I'm a fan of German  I don't know what happen to the game last night. they just play, kick the ball here and there, and makes me feel lost the feeling of soccer  Ballack and Klose didn't go as much as I hope they can make it :puppydog: Win 1-0..what a bored game :grumble:

Congrats to the Spanish for winning the cup.. They thoroughly deserved the success.. Its been a long time coming..

I would not necessarily say that the match was the most boring match of the tournament.. It was a good match for a final.. Normally finals end up being cagey affairs.. But this one was better.. And the finish by Torres was top class! :applaud:

Bad luck Germany and Ballack, but Spain were simply the better team on view..

Brilliant tournament though.. I hope that UEFA won't spoil it by including more teams the next time around..

He actually won Michael Jackson's sequin glove at auction and will be wearing that glove to provide that extra special touch of the hand...hell he might even moonwalk after using the gloved hand to throw the ball in to the goal.

With Liverpool now out of the UEFA Champions League, I wonder how much longer Rafa Benítez has a job.
