My team this world cup!

I saw that game. I had to wake up at 4AM but that was a great game. South Korea played very well in that game and totally dominated the Greeks. I think they've been drinking too much Ouzo and eating too much Feta cheese. :hehe:

Green. The goof seen around the world.

England 1. Green 1. :say_gdluck:

= USA draws with England.

Germany tonight!
A German friend of mine is organising a little drink at his place!
I don't care much about the team and the game but I fancy Germany's trainer a little (the older guy I would go for) and there will be Japanese food. :woot:

My team in World cup is also South Korea.
As Jack Lemmon said in the Great Race....'I hope you win I hope you win.
(I loved that cake fight in the bakery.,...)

Tom Hanks would have a few words to say to the UK goalie....

THERE'S NO BUTTERFINGERS IN SOCCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only the goalie can touch the ball with his hands. did anyone tell him that??????????? Was he trying to blow it away??????????

South Korea was better than I expected. I thought they were a much weaker team, but they played a nice football.

England lost 2 points but I still think England has the best chance to win the cup, along with Spain. When Gareth Barry returns England will play a different football.

Well, Germany scored 4 goals but Australia was too weak tonight. They did not convince me. My fellow countryman in German team, Mesut Özil was very good though, he did convince me.

Argentina was ... well they won the game but it was a very very close win.

..and vuvuzela noise still sucks.

Tell Wayne Rooney to start playing first...

Yeah he was totally lost. It is funny because he organized/and executed Manchester United attacks whole year single handedly. But I believe if Barry returns to the midfield, England will be much more organized team and (hopefully) this will effect Rooney too. (I have no idea why I'm rooting for England)

In the spirit of the vuvuzela, I believe you are rooting for England because of their star goalie, Robert "Hand of Clod" Green.

Green = :victory:

Actually I changed my mind, I root for vuvuzela. [image]

Vuvuzela FTW!

I can't wait until a frustrated attendee at one of the World Cup matches rips a vuvuzela from the person next to him, breaks it on his knee, and then yells, "GOAL!"

Well Argentina won, that's the important thing. But Veron played a bad game, Di Maria was lost, there's not connection between the midfield and the forwards. :shakehead: Still, we shouldn't have any problems with S. Korea nor Greece.

US stole two points, puts them in good position to make to next round.

I knew Germany would beat Australia, but I didn't think they would look so impressive, they've been the best team thus far.

Regarding the vuvuzela, I heard tv stations around the world got complaints from viewers about the annoying sound. So some are raising the announcers' mic volume and decreasing stadiums' mic volumes.

That German team was like the UN, they had players from all over the world, Brazil, Turkey, Bosnia

Yeah but Messi had six million shots on goal....if this is a harbinger of things to come Argentina should blow through their group easily. Props to the Nigerian goalie, that match could have been seriously lopsided if not for his guardianship of the goal.

I think the Greeks should sell Souvlaki and olives to all the vuvuzela-blowing S. Africans....

Another goaltender blunder today, as Italy was able to tie Paraguay after Villar completely missed the ball on the corner kick, other than that he would have had a perfect game.

Surprised by Japan's win they had been playing pretty bad coming into the World Cup. But the won when in matters the most. First victory for them in a World Cup playing outside of Japan.

Netherlands beats Denmark, as both teams were lackluster.

Yeah, the goalie was good. He's probably going to get some offers from European clubs.

Funny.

Great moment on the news this morning.

A J-reporter outside was giving a report outside the stadium with a bunch of Cameroon fans, and while he was speaking they'd keep blowing their vuvuzelas. Finally, he turned and shouted (good-naturedly) "Urusai yo!" at them, to which they all began cheering, "Urusaiyo! Urusaiyo! Urusaiyo!"

Brief explanation of World Cup 2010.

I think the level of football shown by most of the teams is very low, as a football fan I never thought watching a world cup would be this boring. I hope we will start to see some action after group matches or this whole vuvuzela damage will be for nothing.

Hehe. Your vuvuzela skills will be so polished by the end of the tournament you might find new life as a musician.

 I am looking for a new career anyway. Wait for my new album "Plays Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D-Minor on vuvuzela" [image]

I heard all S. African vehicles will now be installed with a vuvuzela to replace the horn under the hood.
