Not to worry: the phpBB software here automatically resizes any pic to a maximum width of 500 pixels...

My hair is longer than that now. I can actually sit on it, which makes me (reluctantly) think that it's time to get a haircut. How much money can you make from it anyway? :P

That is certainly true...but there IS a Taiwanese dialect of Chinese.

For sure but when you factor in the different historical trajectories of Taiwan and Mainland China one will appreciate the animonsity b/n the two.
Taiwan has done very well for itself without the Central Command Economy dictated from Beijing. Taiwan is easily recognized as one of the richest nations of East Asia despite its "independence" from the PRC.
