I don't know who this guy is but please tell me that is a picture of a role he plays. He looks scary in a oppressive North Korean communist general kind of way

*can solve the riddle of the uniform, not the riddle of the role*
it's a japanese uniform, most likely WW2, his collare badges identify him as Lt. Col. of the army

and yes, I got some pics somewhere, they're ~2 years old, but eh... will work till I got new ones :P

ok, off to search I go...

HA, damn I'm good... *found the stuff*

ok, time to get scared... hide the children somewhere in the bushes and close all your windows, doors and fridges...

This is, yesssss a PASSPORT PICTURE!! AAAAAAAH... they always suck... ~2 years old...

heck, that's even older... scary... I'm on the left... had those HUGE glasses back then... oioioioioi *yiddels*

you'll get an uptodate one once I a) have a working scanner or b) get my hands on a digicam somehow...

lovelessmotion,

no, I'm not Japanese, I came from Taiwan. I moved to Vancouver, Canada when I was 8 or 9. I've been to Canada for 11 yrs now.

The thing got me started for Japanese stuffs is that my friend said that I look like Yutaka Takenouchi and start naming some dramas, and other instances some many people start doing that. Therefore, I was shocked after knowing not J-Drama, but it's a first experience.

Now, I know alot about Japan and most of my friends are Japanese, but that incident got me started.

What no more pic?

Hi all. Being that most of our pictures are gone, I ask genma if he were up to helping us host some picture files of the members here. This is what I wrote to him in a PM:

niko2x wrote:Hey long time no see.

It seems that there are new interests in the "Post your picture" thread, due to the fact that all the old picture in all our host sites are gone.

If you don't mind, would you make a post in that thread and tell everyone to send you a pic who wants to be seen. That way, you will host the picture and not all these angelfire, domainDLX, all these other places that crashes so regularily, so we know that picture won't dissappear. BTW, is jdorama.com able to host jpegs?

That way, all of us can be closer as one, happy family, and all that crap! Talk with you later.

He then responded:

Genma wrote:Hi

I've thought of that. But requires quite alot of manual work for me, Maybe you could post to tell the rest to send pix to [email protected], then I'll work on them when I have time. :)

So, as a dutiful messenger, I pass this message to you all: If you want to send Genma a picture of you, send it to the above mentioned email. He will then, once he has some time, keep our photos in one place instead of all of us using crappy host sites, and it will be just pictures, no comments or anything. Any thoughts?

that would be great! one question though, what if we want the picture changed? it would be a big hassle to genma

thats a brilliant idea niko2x ;)
