I won the "Today" contest on Turn Left Turn Right! Woohoo! Won a huge poster, postcards and notebooks! Missed by 1 place to get the autographed posters though... Quite sad... I won 3rd prize... Only 1st 2 prizes had their posters autographed... Oh well... ;)

I wish I could have gone... Oh well... Anyway, I really wanna buy that book by Jimmy Liao, "Turn left, turn right"... I have only seen it in Chinese...

Thanks! Anyway, you can always buy a poster... I'm sure they'll sell it somewhere but I think they cost about $15. That's what I think.. I'm not good in this... Hehe... :mrgreen:

The movie was enjoyable and they kept close to the original comic for the most part. But I personally prefer the comic. The movie had too much humour injected into it which kinda ruined the melancholy mood of the comic. And they changed the ending of the comic in the movie. The new ending was abit hard to swallow :sweat:

t know it's true or not but from what I heard the director of the movie will become the hero :( ... I hope this is not true because I really want to see takeshi with a new japanese movie!!!!

i've heard from a friend who is a DIE HARD Fan of takeshi that Takeshi doesn't act in just any movies. She told me that there is always a long queue of movies asking him to be the lead, but only the lucky few get picked by him.

Come to think of it, ever since he got famous, the scripts of the movies he starred in are pretty unique

I remember that..now he's a superstar.. :nut: I think he's a lucky guy to have a good agent too. It means that he got the opportunity to show off his real talent to the world.
