Btw, oyabin... had been wondering about this new Japanese phrase, "Dondake". What does it mean? I've heard this in Bistro Smap for a few times, first time was when the guests were the JJ models... Shingo imitate them and kept saying "dondake"... then, one of the girl said it... then Goro also said it xD Then, Shingo also said it in the Cannes SP. And last time, was last night's Bistro... again Shingo said it.

Itfs hard to explain about gDondakeh. Well,, I will try to explain.
gDondake --gis very new catch-phrase for Japanese young girls. I heard the phrase come from a TV program. It is a casual phrase of gdoredakec?h or gdonokurai..?h
The phrase is usually used when you see someone who has or doing extraordinary things.
For examples, you meet a girl who is eating a lot of food. You can say to her or people around you gDondake?h . It means. gHow much food are you going to eat?h...kind of like that. So, I think Shingofs way of using is not exactly correct. But its Ok, he was so cute.

Oh, btw... oyabin, she's Miss Universe. Aree... isn't that a big deal for Japanese?? haha... when Indonesian candidate got into the Top Ten, few years ago, they made it quite alot of fuss about it in my country xD But, somehow, I felt Japanese doesn't really think its something that much for their candidate to win the Miss Universe contest? is this true, oyabin?^^

Of course it was a big news in Japan and most of Japanese know that she won the Miss U. Therefore the Korean actorfs episode was postponed.
But, c. In my opinion,(remember itfs just my opinion) I donft think she is not the type who can gain most Japanese favor, not only in terms of a facial appearance but also a character. She looks extremely confident her appearance, but Japanese tend to respect condescension. She looks like a Japanese American. I think it would be different if some more adorable( for japanese) girl won the Miss U.

I agree with you that they are not high nowadays, but as for the canne episode, that's because it was not normal version but special one. SxS's special versions' ratings tend to be lower than usual.
Last night's SxS was 19.9%. :woot:

hi oyabin, minna!!!

there was something unnatural about her, it was probably her laugh, the kind that just opens your mouth without a sound hehe..and i noticed the way she rested her hands on her hip and the other on the counter...i think it is so 'not japanese'....i have never seen a female guest do that...takuya as far as i can recall does that, most of the time though, but he is the host..oh well, it's just probably me

i was surprised that nakai could actually look at her mesh skirt without messing his face, excuse the pun..

and the blingbling on her finger is a miniature tiarra hehe

it's probably because she's used to posing for the pageants. it probably just became a habit and she subconsciously does it

WD wrote:@ yanie-chan, yes that Nakai's Summer Drama Festival will e on July 2nd. Of course I care about next season's dramas but the most important thing is...TOMA!!! :) (And I do hope that rumor about him debuting with the rest of the 3TOPS in Oct will come true...it's been so long already!).

yeah... cant wait for that.. yet another Jr with Nakai in the show!!! heehee..

I would like to ask if anyone have the Kimura in new FOMA keitai CM, can someone ps upload them!!! thank you

Thoses days before Goro's birthday was really fun, even I posted alot. I was skipped lunch time at work just to come over here. Everyone at work was like 'You don't like us, do you?'

  I will be back more when Goro's birthday is again!

Well, KK are on their 10th anniversary so it's expected, after all their best of album is coming out in July.

But will or will not SMAP have another 2004? Really, I can't bear to have another 2004! That's like torturous!

I think 2007 is some what like 2004, next week will be last week of june still no announcement of a single, album or concert :grumble: but there still july august september october november and december there still hope :fingerscrossed:

I hope they'll release the new single and album right away. I still have faith on them that they will have a concert this year :fingerscrossed:

btw, just want to share my happy day with you guys ^^
I got accepted at Japan Foundation in my country to take the japanese class there. At first I was only trying my luck, but then I passed the administration selection. Unexpectedly, I also passed the written test which was really really difficult :beaten: . The interview was done last week. The final result was issued this morning. I'm so happy when I saw my name on the list :woot:

yosh! motto motto ganbarimasu ^^
