i think they might have unofficially retired it. or at least, put it on vacation for a while they introduce new games like the hiragana horse-archery and basketball thing. to be honest, i prefer roulette bowling over all of the new games.

I like the Yabusame (the Archery) but that baskeball thing is lame compared to the Roulette Bowling....they even had the Revenge Ball..which made it more interesting....

In yesterday's IiTomo, Shingo wore Kuryu's jacket and wig, and on the jacket was written: HAPPY B'DAY TAKUYA!!! :hehe:
Last night's oishii reaction in Bistro... omg, Shingo was just hillarious... I laughed so hard, my stomach hurts!! Koyuki promoted the movie ALWAYS sequel... and the time set of that movie, is exactly when Tokyo Tower finished (1959), so Shingo wore that Tokyo Tower costume again, acting like Tokyo Tower, who feel offended coz in the ALWAYS poster, Tokyo Tower's pic is so small *LOL*
During the eating time, Shingo had to take off the lower part of the costume, and eat in such a weird (and that's definitely uncomfortable!) position, he's only wearing an underpants (I think...), so he had to bend down to cover that :rofl: OMG!! Shingo... hontou ni kakko warui!! He looks so uncool...lol! (but the weirdest thing is, Shingo was in my dream last night... which is RARE... and in my dream, he's CHO KAKKOII, haha)
There was a new game... a French game...Shingo and Kimura in European hat and tux!*V* Looking so kakkoii!!!
Ending song is Backstreet Boys... too bad, they're down to 4 members now, Kevin left the band last year. Hmm... I was a big BSB fan 10 years ago, but now I really have no interest at all in them... thou perhaps I still have a bit of soft spot on Brian(was my fave back then).... seriously... SMAP and BSB are pretty much in the same age... but BSB guys looks so much older x)

i think i like roulette bowling the most because there's a lot of interaction between smap and the guests. in the basketball and yabusame games they can only cheer from the side whereas in bowling they can stand next to them and tell them when to go.

Fuji TV's flagship "Getsu 9" drama time slot will feature SMAP member Shingo Katori in a starring role next season. The story, penned by popular screenwriter Shinji Nojima, is described as a "human love story." Katori's co-star will be actress Yuko Takeuchi.
"Bara no nai Hanaya" tells the story of Eiji Shiomi (Katori), the manager of a small flower shop. His wife has passed away, leaving him to raise their daughter Shizuku on his own. The drama depicts their various interactions with the people around them.
Takeuchi plays the female lead as the blind beauty Mio. Other cast members include Yumiko Shaku as Shizuku's homeroom teacher, Shota Matsuda as a young man freeloading off of Shiomi, Susumu Terajima as a cafe owner who falls for Shaku's character, Tomokazu Miura as the director of a large hospital, and Junko Ikeuchi.
The series begins in January, airing on Mondays at 9:00pm.
