not too sure is this what you want.... they did not all cried, only goro did i think..... this is the sxs that goro make a public apology and return after suspended. are you refering to "drink smap" concert?when they sing bestfriend, all of them cried....i upload this sxs anyway... enjoy!!! it's in real player format....

this is the clip on drink concert where the guys were singing best friend.. i personally find it a guy very manly if they r holding back their tears.. dunno y.. haha.. i dun like guys to cry out loud.. but dropping a tear or two is darn manly n sexy to me.. haha.. n i muz say, i found goro very mesmerizing here...

why was goro suspended last 2002 was it? pls tell us the whole story....

Here's how it happened:

Goro parked his car illegally. A policewoman was about to give him a parking ticket when he drove off in a bid to escape that ticket. In the process, he knocked her over accidentally. Not really knocked her as in ran her over but from the reports, I believe she was at the side corner of his car and was mildly knocked when he drove off.

The law caught up with him of course (I think he paid a hefty fine) and he was suspended from all Johnny's activities for 6 months...

That's as much as I can remember... :sweat:

They seemed much more human. Not that they were not human b4 ( :doh: ),but when SMAP first came into the J-entertainment scene they were like another product from the Johnny's factory.
They became closer and stronger together after the incident.

ya.... drink smap(2002) is the concert tour after goro return. from what i can remenber smap sung bestfriend live only 3 times.... the 1st is in 96 where mori leave smap (their last song together), the 2rd time is at sxs where goro return (feb 2002) and the last time was at the last day of drink smap concert (sept 2002).

thanks for all the info.gals! another question...so the sxs clip where all 5 of them were wearing light blue suits,that was the first comeback of goro in showbiz after the suspension? and that's why goro was all teary here? :doh:

it's really heartbreaking to see the 4 of them cry while singing bestfriend on their drink concert... :shakehead: :shamefulcry:

I just recently saw a couple of episodes of the SMAPxSMAP television variety show....this is a dayem cool show and it's pretty funny, too. I really love how they always have celebrities as guests...and they actually different types of cuisine that the guests request

I just saw an old episode with Rie Miyazawa and another with Eri Fukatsu & Ryoko Hirosue from "Slow Dance."

Unfortunately it's not subbed but watching this has restored a miniscule amount of faith in my weak japanese language skills but cuz I understand a fair amount of what's being said when I thought I would be totally clueless.....in any event...the comedy skits are pretty dayem funny as well...

It's a trip to see Kimura Takuya cooking for the likes of Rie Miyazawa, Ryoko Hirosue, etc, etc......

They sure know how to book the good looking females as guests... :bonk:

i don't have the clip but you can get the entire show, at www.jpopsuki.com, dated 2005-6-27 with celebrity guests Eri Fukatsu & Ryoko Hirosue. In that episode Takuya's team loses Bistro Smap.
