Japanese CDs are just too expensive new. In the US you can buy brand new full-length CDs for around $10 when they're on sale. When I have more money I plan to buy all brand new SMAP goods :D But for now ebay and Yahoo! Japan are my only affordable options :hehe:

I agree. Japanese CDs are definitely too expensive. I remember about three years ago, when I went to Japan, I bought a Chemistry single (SINGLE, not an album) and it was at least 2000 yen. I was like :shocked: . That surprised me. (And yet, last year when I went again, I bought another new Chemistry single.)
That's why when I go to Japan, I usually go to Book-Off or another used CD store to buy my music. What can I say? I don't have money!

I know that the theme song for the movie is sung by Kubota Toshinobu and Sunmin. It's called "Keep Holding U" but I don't know if that's the one you're talking about.

I don't think SMAP will do that.....SMAP is the most popular idols group in Japan, and ppl won't be attracted by someone who lip-sync....Anyway, SMAP is very talented, so I don't think they have to do that..
ladyusagi, I dun have Onmyouji, but i've watched it. Borrowed it from my friend^^ It is really boring...haha! And what Goro wear is not a samurai dress either... x)
Taisuke, I'm afraid SMAP still DOES lip-sync^^ I think most of artists does for live shows, esp. for a weekly live show like Music Station. But they usually only does lip-sync during the CHORUS/REFF parts...for the SOLO parts, of course not...it's their own voices.
Try to pay attention more, next time u watch SMAP in Music Station. When they're singing their solo parts, you can obviously hear they're losing their breath. But when they sing the chorus part, suddenly the sound becomes smooth, no trace of losing breath at all x) I think, all Johnny's groups/artists does this, since they usually dance during the chorus...it'll sound really bad if they weren't help by lip-sync. It's a common knowledge already.
It was just bad luck for Yamapi, because his mic falls off RIGHT during the chorus, thus it was revealed he's doing lip-sync.
But for NHK's Kouhaku Utagassen, I'm guessing there are no lip-sync at all. I wonder, is that why Kouhaku only invite the Johnny's senior like SMAP and Tokio only, and never the younger groups?? xD
Fye, lip-sync is when an artist perform like he's really singing live, but actually it's the voice of the recorded tape. So, the microphone is not actually on.
When Yamapi's mic fell off, the sound of his voice is still heard clearly, even though his lips stop singing. So, it must be a really embarrassing experience for him x) My friend, Yamapi fan, almost cried when she watched that :hehe:
And what I meant, Taisuke... Whether or not SMAP had experienced these kind of embarrasing moments on stage. NOT about they're doing lip-sync or not. Haha...but, of course they had, ne... I think I once saw Nakai slipped during dance routine and fell off, during their debut time^^

I don't mind SMAP doing lipsync. We all know know they can sing right? and afterall they usually do lipsync in the CHORUS part only so I'm okay with that.
Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean that I totally agree with lipsync. Once again, they only do it in the chorus part right? so I don't think it's wrong to do that, i think it's just normal. What I don't agree is if SMAP or any other artists do lipsync for the whole songs, either in concerts, live perfomances or recordings.
But of course our DEAR SMAP will never do lipsycn for their recordings or for the whole songs when they are in concerts. They are what they are. Never feel embarrased although they don't have perfect voice as singers.
ah so you don't have it yanie? zannen desu ne. yeah, i heard it was REALLY boring too. and i knew he wasn't dressed in samurai garb but i still want to see it because it's something different from the usual goro. he's quite a bore this goro. stunning but if you see it too much you get kinda bored. lol
