 40. That's a big number. Coincidentally, same number as the amount of singles SMAP has released. (I know, totally irrelevant.)
I wish I was part of some sort of gathering thing like that. But I don't know anyone in real life who's into SMAP or any Johnny's related group, for that matter.

40 smappies, 40 singles, haha..what a coincidence
I'm so excited about this..I hope it goes well, but the most important thing is I hope we can get the DVD on time, otherwise it will :bleh:

Nakai was born to host shows :hehe:
19 Nov 2006, 20:50 #9083
Yes he is.. He can be said as THE HOST KING, too.. Sometimes i wonder, if he din host, will he be famous?
19 Nov 2006, 20:50 #9084
Yeah, Nakai makes up for his bad singing by being a great MC. That's why for Bistro SMAP, he's the best owner. He's so good at talking to people. He's a great people person. He must have a lot of friends. haha. He does MCing so naturally, I don't think it's something he has to try hard at. I mean, I know work is work but he must love his work!

So next year they increase the number of single again.. U all wanna find more then? Haha..

U buy from HMV qnuy? It takes how long usually?

Nakai knows it perfectly that he can't sing well, so he tries to be the best host because that's his best area. He likes talking to people.

When Goro was suspended and SMAP had to change turns being the bistro owner, Nakai couldn't help himself talking to the guest and he said that he prefered being an owner to being the chef

It was like a torture for him that he couldn't talk much when he was the chef
19 Nov 2006, 21:06 #9087
Yeah, when they were only 4 members while Goro was out and they had to rotate owners, it seemed like the other three of them were forcing themselves to keep the talk going. It seems so natural and relaxed with Nakai.
And then on the episode that Goro came back, they (Takuya, Tsuyoshi, and Shingo) were talking about all the things they had trouble with while being an owner. Not being able to ring the bell, or not being able to do the "Oishii!" thing at the right time.
Nakai is just too good when it comes to stuff like this.

He talk so fast.. Non stop.. When ppl ask something, he can answer very fast.. No need to think much.. And can make ppl laugh easily..

happiegurlie wrote:Just read like 16 pages of translations on Takuya's radio show on the la creme d'asie forum.

I see him in such a different light now!

Has anyone else read these? Some of the stuff he says on the radio are ridiculous! I mean, ridiculous in an awesome fangirls-would-go-nuts kind of way. Hilarious, actually.

Natsu-chan, you should HEAR Takuya in the radio!! Beside THE Takuya who's together with SMAP, I also loooooove THE Takuya on the radio!!! He's just so genki, expressive and funny whenever he host WUS!^o^ I love listening to WUS radio files^^ Esp. the recent one where Shingo suddenly appear co-hosting with him...haha... I wish I can share these radio files to you...

On the contrary, I don't like Nakai on the radio...he sounded tired and not genki, like he's not in the mood or sumthin' xD
As for Shingo, sometimes he's good, sometimes he sounded sleepy and tired too...hehe.... Probably these 2 guys are better hosting in front of the camera xD

Goro and Tsuyoshi are good too, ....but for me, The Best Radio Host in SMAP is Takuya!^^

They just being so poor.. And funny.. They alwayz force themselves to talk more.. So itz better for Nakai as the host.. Nakai's cooking is kinda weird, ne? He cant do well wit that..

:hehe:  I love when he sings on Utaban. He makes it so obvious that it's hilarious. Just imagining it now makes me laugh. He was definitely a born comedian.

Trust me, Yanie chan, I wish i could. I'm searching frantically on the other forums for any radio files. Just by reading the translations, I can tell he's super enthusiastic. And funny, too.

Yeah. I watched an episode where Shingo hosted and Morning Musume came. Nakai made a typical school lunch for them! I mean, don't get me wrong, I think Japanese school lunches are delicious, but not the same level as gourmet Bistro food! It was pretty funny. I heard that after awhile though, he got serious about cooking good food and he came up with some good stuff. Haven't watched those episodes, though.
