Carol, I found the link for the agency that allows foreigners to join the JFC. I can't believe they mark up the price that much. Can't we just fill out the forms ourselves and pay only 5,000 yen versus using them and paying 30,000 yen? I found what the form looks like on the official Johnny's site...I just need someone to translate it for me, haha.

Ne, Ellena or anyone else who's a member of the Smap FC, what else do you get besides 4 fan communication papers and advanced ticket sales?
