is there anything you guys do not like about smap? i know we should accept and love them for all their faults and such, but is there anything that you do not quite agree with?




Welcome Scarlet (is it okey to call you Scarlet) Well, we SMAPPIES can understand SMAP friendship its a bonding that many can't understand. we can't see them together most of the time they have their own peers, but i think they know what is happening to each one of them, when one is in trouble they are all there as one.

As Takuya have said theres energy in the group that no one understand, Shingo will be lost if SMAP will separate.

WELCOME AGAIN SCARLET TO SMAPPIE WORLD initially for me, i found it quite disconcerting that they are not as close off-screen as they are on-screen. there was a smap show i watched, forgot which was it, where all of them were being really genki and joking around. when the staff shouted "BREAK TIME!" all of them just snapped out of their genki-ness and stopped talking to each other. they just went to their respective dressing rooms, but the camera was still rolling. i was really shocked when i saw this and was wondering if their friendship was just for the cameras.

however, slowly i began to understand their relationship. close friendship is like that. you have grown so comfortable with each other that you don't see the need to constantly please each other and make unneccessary small talk. infact, it's amazing how much they understand each other even without talking much during their off-screen time. makes me feel :applaud: when i think about the bond of smap. it's a pity that reporters and new fans (like me at that point) do not understand this and misconstrue it as bad blood within the group.

okay back to my question. as i have mentioned earlier, i don't like it that nakai can't sing well!! :bonk: although he makes up for it by having excellent hosting skills. somehow even though i dislike nakai's bad singing, i don't fault goro for being a bad dancer. haha I'M BIASED! because goro looks cute when he dances badly! :mrgreen:

i don't like it whenever kimura throws tantrums on smapxsmap or other shows either. like sometimes how everyone is so genki and he's just mulling around, looking bored, smiling occassionally (what a killer smile though!). does anyone notice that? it doesn't happen frequently though, but i've seen it a few times.

i guess i'll continue the rest of my thoughts after i have heard some of yours!

Now downloading santaku and sxs new year special...hopefully can download finish by today too!

I haven't watched Santaku (and not planning to unless someone really persuades me) but the New Year special is pretty good. :victory:

Just finished watching Nakai's Super Drama Bowling Festival (hey, I did not come up with this name) and it was quite entertaining. Hahaha.
Nakai loves to bother everyone. But I guess that's okay because he's one of the most well-liked celebrities in Japan. And there were quite a few references to his "singing" abilities. Hehe.

I felt so sorry for .. the woman who played Nagase's teacher in "My Boss My Hero." (I'm sorry, her name escapes me!) Nakai was bothering her but she was pretty unresponsive. And then Nakai realized this and was like, "You don't really like me, do you?" (Anmari suki jyanai, ore no koto?) I think he also said, "Sorry for being such a bad host." Hahaha.

Sasuga Nakai. He's a great host. Love him. :mrgreen:

LOL! I hate American boybands, too! I was a big fan of Backstreet Boys, though (I WAS 13, back then! =P)....but only lasted for 1-2 years and the feeling died down...and I grew to hate American boybands.
I used to hate the younger Johnny's group too, actually. I cannot stand their costumes in the concerts >_< But I find out later some of them can be funny and are great actors too. So I come to like them. But I still feel reluctant to watch their concerts, even until now xD Oh, except for Arashi^^ They are the only younger group I'm fond of.

Some Smappies kept telling me that I should check out K8 coz they're like the younger version of SMAP. But that just means a YABAI thing for me!! What if I become a diehard fan of K8 too??? I already have no life because of SMAP...if I become a K8 fan too, then I'll become broke for life too....LOL! Thus, I don't feel like watching any K8 shows xD
Or maybe I just cannot stand the fact that I may divide my focus with another group besides SMAP if I watch too many of them.... I don't wanna ever do that to SMAP... I'm just being a baka fan ne, aren't I? :bonk:
