Hey, minna, minna... Today the HK news are reporting that all SMAP members will get married by this year...

The first one is Goro-chan,, he will get married with Miho this coming Spring.. The second is Nakai-kun,,, :puppydog: he will REALLY get married with Minako,, and Minako has already stopped her work,, getting prepared to marry Nakai-kun.. Shingo will also married this year, after Nakai-kun...

that's the thing i like about goro. you don't see that many southpaws. and i love how nakai always teases him during roulette bowling and says "ara goro, you're using your left hand?" oh and he did the same thing to nino during the fuji tv super bowling sp. did you know, nino's left handed also and his grandpa taught him how to use his right hand. now he's ambidextuous.

Yeah, I knew about Nino being a southpaw who was taught to become ambidextrous. He usually does things that take a lot of cordination (sporty things) left-handed but plays the guitar right-handed, ne. Kato Shigeki from News is also left-handed...didn't know about Yamapi though, but they're of a younger generation so they wouldn't have been stigmatized for being left-y.

Around the time Goro was born, being left-handed was still frowned upon in Japan and not because of a convenience issue. It was a sign of being "different". I don't think I've seen Goro do anything right-handed though except when he plays golf but I'm guessing that's because left-handed clubs were hard to come by when he was learning. Yeah, it's cool he was able to remain a southpaw :hehe: I especially like it when he plays the guitar with Takuya because their guitars are pointing in opposite directions. But then again I like when Goro-chan plays the guitar anytime.

I don't believe it...the part about all of them getting married this year. Unless they all plan to have shot-gun marriages and well you don't really plan those, ne. :hehe:

Weddings are a big deal...they take a lot of time and money. Really, it's a time for a bride to shine and they probably wouldn't want to share the spot light with the other SMAP fiancees. If anyone gets married this year it'll be Goro and Miho, maybe the others would get married the following years after. Seriously, three/four SMAP weddings in one year would be insane. Like usual, I'll believe it when I hear it from the Japanese press or when SMAP gives a press conference about it, haha.

WOW that news is amazing they are all getting married this year, is there a penalty for not getting married this year? Maybe it has to do with the year of the Pig :bonk:

In Japan they used to force south paws to become right handed. Nagisa, my cousin was also a left handed when she was young then my uncle don't let her use left hand and beat her whenever she used her left hand...now she's a right handed person so I think there are people in Asian who is the same as in Japan too....by the way, I'm a left handed person too...Hurray!! I'm same as Goro-chan :)
