Yeah, I'm taking A'level this year, only 5 subjects. I used to like Physic quite a bit last time, now I totally HATE Physics. I took 10 subjects for O'level 2 years ago, it's a bit crazy if I take 10 subjects for A'level, only genius can do that....

Aki(Yuko) in some ways is quite similar to Noriko in Shiroi Kage. Both are so sweet and gentle, always care for others and the man she loves. I really like her characters like that. Come to think of it, she had many roles in romance dramas that a girl wish for!!! Just like in Shiroi Kage, Pride, Mukodono, Queen of lunch... Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu-->I don't like his husband, Nakamura Shido.
Engine? I feel Koyuki is just okay, but she doesn't has much chemistry with Jirou and I don't really care for her. The script doesn't focus on their relationship much. I like Engine because I love kids, and Nakajima Yuuto in it!
In recent there aren't many love dramas, so Pride is quite good! I think some people really have a different mood when you watch the drama in different time. I don't have problem watching old Jdrama like Tokyo Love Story and those in the 90's, but if I watch them now I'll think very differently. One of my friends likes Jdrama, but she can't stand old dramas(I tried to make her watch Love Generation but failed)...
i agree that koyuki and jirou have hardly any chemistry in engine.. its pity the drama doesnt focus on their relationship.. but i dont enjoy the way takuya developed his feelings for her... the way he looks at her.. and his interaction with her gradually changes... his acting never fails to amaze me =) koyuki's acting aint too bad too :) but there's just a lack of chemistry bt them...
i love PRIDE personally.. my fav drama :D takuya seems to be the best person to play the role of Halu. i love halu satonaka!!:victory: :victory: :victory:
i have always wanted to watch tokyo love story.. heard alot of positive comments about it...
i agree too that there are many older dramas that are very very very nice.. long vacation n love generation are two fine examples :woot:

In a way I kinda agreed with you, I prefer LG much much better than Pride, but that said, Long Vacation is THE ULTIMATE Kimura's romcom ever in my list! Simply love everything about LV! :muack:
Long Vacation is probably the MOST COMFORTABLE love drama i have ever watched in my life...
i think this thought would never change.. yea.. i really feel very comfortable watching it..
the sound track was superb..
even though it was an old production.. but i feel that the quality is still very good compared to newer dramas these days..

I'm playing the part of Kenji, a bell boy. TOday was the last day of shooting. It feels strange because I would come for 2 days at a time all month but then in between I would have the concerts so I couldnt tell whether I was really in the movie or not. I sang a song while playing guitar. Toshiyuki Nishida was with me the whole time, from my acting before the song, the song and after. Mr.Nishida is a really funny guy. Now i understand why rhere are 16 " Tsuribaka"s. 16 is really something. I told Mitani too. I havent been this impressed since Kunie. I noticed a similarity between them, their acting is funny but when the camera stops, they have eyes like killers. They're not scary but their eyes give them an intensity that puts them anove the rest. Their aura is overwhelming but they're great fun! thanks Mr. Mitani!
Nakai Masahiro (18/August)-
Shingo's diary : Hiroshi Tachi came for my KAtsuken sketch. I went up to him and said: I am Hiroshi. or " Portsmounth Portsmounth meow, Hiroshi cat and stuff like that. He couldnt stop laughing when I came out from the back and the music started. It was a funny first meeting.

We had BeraBera Station for the first time in a while and i got 2 out of 6 right. Getting 2 right is as good as 0 for me. i think the 4 wrong answers may give me a hint about my future.. Its a lie thats " All's well that ends well" I stayed alone at the studio and reviewed BeraBera book. It was thta kind of day

Goro came. He was nervous about the opening. Im glad someone else came to understand that feeling of suddenly going live. I do that myself all the time. GOro offered his serious opinion " They're both live but somehow the timing feels different from "Smasma" live. The tempo too" He kills me.
Shingo (31/Jan)-
It's my birthday. i got this cake on "iitomo". after finishing Iitomo, i went to my dressing room and suddenly HIjikata was there so i told him to stop acting like a stalker. I only had iitomo today so after thinking about what to do, we went to a hotel for tea and beer. We started drinking from 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

i really noticed how fun "SmaSta" is after watching it from home last week and notices how much i like the audience too. I just thought " Wow, what fun". It was good to come back.Watching the show last week, I felt like doing more with the 5 seconds to commercial parts." Grudge"s kid was my favourite part of today's show.

Kita Senju in Adachi Ward. We raced go-carts there for "Tokujo! Tensei Shingo" We had bbq lamb afterwards . Some cats came up so I gave them some leftovers. i had beaten Woody two times in a row before today, but he finally won today. He has class A driver's license. When we raced before i said "Im not losing to no class A license. It's my 1st time" And i won.That really got Woody down. He wanted revenge but then i won again. os the 3rd time, I really teassed and taunted him. "How could you win?/ You really wanna take me on? I'll do it. you get down and beg and ill do it. Then boop....boopp..boop...beeeeppppp... and when we took off, i was nervous from too much taunting. SO i spun around on the 1st corner, lost and then took a picture of a cat forgetting tha tommorow is the last day for my pictures.

1) Shingo is a clean freak. He hates dust. he is 99% allergic to dust, hence he always wears a mask when cleaning his house

I gave it a couple of tries, and I didn't hate it, I just realized I didn't care whether Halu and Aki wound up together (except for the fact that I watched the episodes, and it needed to go somewhere). I like romance and all, but I found it to over the top as someone said.
I liked the secondary characters a lot. And the hockey plot-line interested me to a point, but then something happened which made me :shakehead: and stop caring about that too.
Again, I didn't hate it, and might pop it in now and again just for me to drool over Takuya for, but in the end it gets a "eh".

I knew I would be hearing from a couple of people about that :mrgreen: The first time I watched it, I wasn't in a romantic mood and I thought that clouded my judgement, but I watched it again recently and had the same reaction. I know that all romantic dramas tend to have some cheese and I can deal or even like cheese, but this one had too much for me.
I actually found the maybe must be thing kinda endearing. And again, I didn't hate it, just didn't care if they wound up together or not LOL.

Yup, LV is not only my fav Kimura's drama of all time, or SMAP dorama of all time, it's also my FAVOURITE JDORAMA OF ALL TIME! :)

I like LV alot too. The relationship between the 6 characters are very well-written, ne. My favorite must be MOMOKO^^ She's just TOO weird!! She and Minami are DEFINITELY the comic relief in the drama.
My most favorite scene was when Minami, Momoko and Ryoko in the foodshop talking about Ryoko's "first time" and Sena was there!!! LOL! it was so funny when they realized it was only her first kiss. Minami went, "Ahh...yokatta...I don't have to take care of my brother's baby! Yoh, Sena! Omedetou, omedetou!!". Stupid gals xD
Story-wise, Long Vacation is much better than LoveGene. But I cant seem to root on for Sena and Minami as a couple, they better off as bestfriends. And I watched this BEFORE LoveGene! I still hated Matsu when I watched this...so, no KimuraMatsu POV got in the way of my opinion on Sena-Minami :hehe:
But in terms of chemistry of the main couple and romantic scenes, LoveGene is better than LongVaca.
Btw, Zephyrscarlet!!! I just read that HERO alternative hentai ending, Takuya made up in WUS!!! Wahahaha.....that pervert Takuya!! I cant believe he made up a hentai dialogue between Kuryu and Amamiya! I wonder how Matsu reacts if she hears this! :rofl: She just sent him a keitai message right??
