Not mistaken two members in V6 and a member in Tokio is older than all members in SMAP,, and itz so weird that they still have to call SMAP "Senpai"... LOL... :rofl:

i think it was a backpack commercial but sadly i don't remember anymore. ntt and lotte were way later though. I do have on tape a really old commercial they did for a faxmachine lol :hehe:

lol the one i have was taped randomly on some drama my mom taped. so it was when ilived in japan last... so i'm guessing it was somewhere around 1990 or 1991.

even funnier, i have the kouhaku where smap comes out when hikaru genji is performing taiyou ga ippai and all they sing is "lalalalala..." :dielaughing:

Yes, that's why I think it's strange.... why is there a child? maybe it was the latest fashion accessory at the time.

I guess as a foreigner in Japan, I'm always amused by the use of "white" people in commercials, for example, the latest new car ad "Wit" , etc ... Why do Japanese people revere americans so much?

Actually, I could go on for a while talking about this. I'm also disappointed with the way that Australia follows America too. Why must we imitate them? What's wrong with our own culture?

In other term, in Johnny's they refer senpai=those who debuted earlier than themselves, kouhai=those who debuted later...

Once in Takuya's WUS, Takuya rather than saying they're his houhai, he called them as those who debuted later than him(smap). And Juniors who are going to debuted must have went to Hawaii before.

Binan no Nikki has updated Smap's blog entries tranlations, I guess Smappies here sure wouldn't want to miss reading them.

As usual, Nakai is doing quiz.... Takuya's had a lot of emojis. I'm quite shock with one of Tsuyoshi's entries, he has a nephew(his older's brother's son), his father died in 2003 (Is this true?!!), his brother got married in 1996...... Anyway, I shouldn't copy and paste the translations here, that would be against the rule....
