I'm shocked Takuya even knows who Ken is!! LOLZ. On lastyear's Music Station countdown sp, I remember Goro saying to one of the V6 guys, I THINK it was Inochi, that this was their first time really meeting.

maybe he meant their first sit down meeting in a while because the conversation goro had with inocchi was about his bad dancing during junior days or something.

In terms of looks, I think Jerry Yan and Keita Tachibana from w-inds look like Takuya the most. Not an exact match of course, but quite similar!

In the beginning when Jerry debut,, his company wanna make him famous, so they had to make Jerry's look "similar" to Kimura-kun,, itz actually the photographic skills,, and the post they made,,

Would like to enlist the help of all you SMAPPIES!!! I just completed watching Music Station 20th Anniversary Special and SMAP was featured quite often in the countdown. May i ask what is the countdown about? Artistes who sold the most albums, Most popular artistes etc? :headscratch:

I think SMAP would get along very well with Koda Kumi, I like her a lot! She seems to have a lot of personality and radiate good vibes. :D
4 Feb 2007, 16:14 #17893
20th anniversary?? Which year is that??
4 Feb 2007, 16:22 #17894
2006. The guest list was amazing. SMAP, b'z, Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, Mr. Children etc.

What was the countdown about? A glimpse of 20 years worth of songs... It was really good!
4 Feb 2007, 16:39 #17895
LOL,, I din watch the whole show,, only watch a few parts...
Hmm,,, let me re-watch it...

I have just finished watching latest SxS last night, it was great! Tsumabuki Satoshi and Shibasaki Kou are couple in real life, seems like they were at ease... Haha, Nakai didn't asked any question about their relationship, I guess it'll cause really weird atmosphere if he asks. Although the female guest would usually give a thank you kiss to the winners, I think no kiss for even the Smap members when the boyfriend is around...

Billiard with Will Smith was so entertaining, maybe because Will Smith is really funny and casual. He claimed that he doesn't play billiard often, yet he played so well. That part Nakai missed to shoot the ball was funny :hehe:

I have waiting for such long time for them to sing "Show Your Smile" in SxS. Yokatta....

eh eh? nono, goro chan was talking to inocchi about an instance where goro chan couldn't make either a MS appearance or something, so inocchi was standing in learning the dance moves for goro. And when he was trying to teach goro the moves.... goro chan couldn't grasp them very easily. Actually, goro chan couldn't grasp them at all LOL. so goro chan apologized and said "korekara mo yoroshiku" which basically means he'll be relying on him in the future too lol.

as for knowing their kouhai, I do know that the smap members know to at least v6 for sure. They've worked with them and they used to all be backup dancers for smap. not to mention sakamoto has been in the jimusho for a while along with the smap members.

Huh? 20th Century were juniors around the same time as SMAP and were backup dancers for them after they debuted. Also, Inocchi and Shingo were really close back then so that couldn't be the case.

yep! Not to mention Innocchi was in smap gakuen or whatever it was called. I'll have to look it up again. I do remember smap talking on utaban a very long time ago saying that once it gets below v6, they have a hard time remembering all of their kouhai. however, i think i remember takuya actually does somewhat keep track of all of them. I could be wrong because this interview was from years ago. But yeah, smap definitely knows the v6 members, tokio members, and kinki kids. They've all worked together during more than one occassion.

the special was to celebrate 20 years since music station started. the countdown featured 200 songs(100 from each decade) of the most requested songs from each decade. I believe the votes were not over the last 20 years, but they asked fans before that special aired what their favorite songs were for each of those decades. It was a great special.

So the performances you saw were the most requested songs/performances over those 2 decades. Each decade had different #1s though. Smap was in both of the decades quite a bit :woot:
