i don't like kudo at all but it's a little unfair to say that kudo "trapped" him. they're both adults and they knew what they were doing. it's not like kimura was some innocent little virgin boy that didn't know anything. i guess it was just all timing.

about the michael jackson thing, from the clips from youtube, he speaks english and has a translator. so no chances of seeing jacko speak japanese. thank god.

I don't think Takuya is shooting a new movie, sorry for any confusion. I mean the samurai film. Think about it though; he shot a movie, he's doing the special, plus all of the SMAP stuff, plus he has a family; that's a lot.

I personally am willing to forgo a new drama for 2006 in the hopes that he can do more movies in the future.

As for the whole Takuya/Kaorin and Takuya/Shizuka thing; while I admit that it's all an interesting read, and even admit that certain points make me :grumble: and :shakehead: if true, no-one but the people involved know the whole story. But even reading this there are differing accounts. For example, one part seems to say that Takuya and Kaorin broke up only because he wasn't going to be able to marry her while another hints that there more issues than that. One part states Shizuka was preggers and that's why she and Takuya got married; and the other part states that Takuya asked her to marry him before she was pregnant.

In the end though, T&K are no more and T&S are married with two little girls, no matter how they got there. Hopefully everyone is happy.

I m a SMAP fanz since 1995. That time I alwayz watch [I Love SMAP], then only [SMAPxSMAP]. I din know Mori left SMAP in the beginning, only after 1 or 2 weeks, coz I don understand any Japanese that time. When I get to know, whoa, me so sad, always tot that he can come back soon, but its impossible. That time, all the news says that SMAP will be disband & i m so afraid they did so.. Luckily they didn't and stay until now..

Bout Kimura's marriage, its really a BIG BIG news, all the newspaper articles r all bout that, I really cant understand y Kimura wanna married Kudo, stil have many pretty woman waiting for him. N this makes his popularity getting lower.. But its his choice, so the only thing i can do is only to continue support him..

Goro's incident, in 2001, SMAP's 10th anniversary, they r having concert when it happens, their 10th anniversary become so sad, some of the fanz dun wanna go for the 5-1 concert, although they had oredi bought a ticket. Everyone become so worried bout that, would SMAP become 4? That's another time that makes me worried.. Some even say that SMAP will disband. I really wanna cry out loud.. :shamefulcry:

But luckily Goro return after 143 days, the time when Nakai says [THIS WEEK WE ARE WITH 4 PERSON, NEXT WEEK WE'LL BE BACK TO 5], whoa, I am really happy with that. :applaud:

From that time onwards, there's no news saying that SMAP will disband, hope that they will have another 15 yearsc

Furthermore...it happened so sudden. Even Nakai heard about this the first time from his manager. He was shocked that Mori didn't say a thing to him nor to the other members. He immediately called Mori's house, but Mori was not there, and it was his father who answered the phone. Nakai asked this to his father and he said, it's true.

When he finally get to meet Mori, Nakai asked him, "Don't you have us?? Why didn't you discuss it first with us? Why did you decide it all by yourself?". He must be very sad to hear this.

Being an autocar racer, has always been Mori's dream since childhood. He coincidentally saw a racer qualification test announcement and the age limit is 22 years old. That year, he will soon be 22, so he thought he should take the test and not missing the opportunity. And, he actually passed the test.

Many asked, why did he has to leave SMAP? Why can't he become a racer AND stay in SMAP?

This is purely fans speculations/rumours: he took the test without informing/asking permission to the Johnny's agency. This has caused Johnny felt offended/angry, thus he fired Mori and want him to leave the group. So, Mori probably intended to two-time the jobs...but...

However, there's another version said, that Mori did decide this by himself. And still, Johnny felt offended and forbid the other members to attend his press conference. But, Nakai didn't listen and he came afterall, to the conference, representating all SMAP members, to show him that though they're very sad, but they support Mori's decision. Nakai even said, he respect Mori's decision...since he always wanted to become a baseball player, but he can never really achieve this childhood dream of his^^

A year later, Mori actually got the 1st place in a racing competition^^ He got married in 1998 and he has a son. I'm not sure, how many kids he has now, though. Well...I guess, the bright side is...he got a peaceful life with his family as an ordinary man^^

Although, Mori has left SMAP, he still contact them sometimes. He called Kimura to congratulate him on his baby birth.

Also, in 2001, SMAP was also rumoured disbanding due to Goro's traffic violation. From 6 down to 5 and now to 4??? At this time around, Mori actually called Shingo, coz he was worried with the situation. He said, "Will the 4 of you be alright in Nagoya concert?? Do you want me to help? But I only remember the dance steps of Aoi Inazuma,". I think that's really sweet of him, to worry about SMAP, though he has been apart from them for 5 years.

Well, they've been together since 1988. Being together for 8 years with SMAP, must give him some kind of bond with the other members.

Actually Nakai-kun oso had an incident in 1999, he got a police-woman gf and she got pregnant, but Nakai-kun dun wan the baby and force her to get off the baby. It make his popularity drop so fast that year, but Kimura-kun help him with the host & his popularity get back higher very soon...

No. In 1999, Kimura did Konya wa Eigyouchu SP(NTV) and Miracle World~Paparazzi SP(FujiTV). Chuushingura 1/47 was in December 2001, WD^^

Rumours said, he was suppose to act in Hirosue Ryoko's LIPSTICK back in 1999, but they couldn't get an agreement on the contract with TBS(?). Thus, his role for that dorama was cancelled. So he only did SPs.

i also heard that Engine was originally suppose to star Ryoko Hirosue instead of Koyuki but after Ryoko announced her unexpected pregnancy she lost her role in that dorama.

Damn, I messed up the dates!

But yeah, he also only did SPs in 1999, and in that year, he didn't even have a movie out, except for shooting 2046 if I'm not mistaken.

I really really hope Takuya will star in another fabulous drama this year.
It's been so long since 'Engine.' I hope he comes back in a drama with great plot and the one where Takuya can show his real acting talent.

Wow, thanks for all the info. I knew about Takuya/Shizuka but not about Kaorin :crazy: Poor guy, had to leave a love of his life because he couldnt marry her :puppydog:

^^^ I will disagree with you there. :hehe: I totally had a thing for Jun before.. since Gokusen was one of the first doramas that I watched (well actually, it was H2 with Yamada Takayuki...) But I got wind of Kimura Takuya's doramas out of curiosity. He's a waaay better actor and he's way hotter.. and he can sing better.. :rofl:

Although, he reminds me of Philip Salvador for some weird reason.

you can't even compare jun matsumoto to kimura takuya in terms of acting.....that's like comparing richard grieco to robert de niro...i mean come on what are you going to compare....gokusen to beautiful life....puhlease.
