Why is it so dead tonight??

I was so bored that I was surfing around other forums on jdorama. I was surprised to see Kat-tun and Arashi having so many more pages and page views than SMAP!!!! I always thought SMAP would be the most popular thread around! Was reading through Kat-tun and Arashi and the entire thread is really filled with fans exchanging links and information about the band and not exchanging of friendster :beaten: :beaten: Just kidding guys!!! I'm just trying to say that they have 1000+ pages and it's not full of fluff but solid stuff!!

Wow, now I am amazed at Kat-tun and Arashi's power.

Haha... Because there are more fangirls of Arashi, News and Kattun. While we all here are usually regulars at this Smappies thread. Smappies thread moves faster than other threads, when this thread was around 200-300 pages, Arashi and Kattun thread already exceed 1000 pages if I'm not mistaken. But Kattun fandom is really dangerous, anytime I think war can happen.... Their fans can be so divided. The good old days were before they debuted. Sorry, kattun fans :bonk:

Sure all of us can be more active and provide more information, but school stuffs and jobs are what we are busy of.

Hey, I post alot, note my post count, it isn't as high as the others, but I've been here a LONG time and try to post thoughts on smap and uploads but no one ever really writes back to what I say, so I tend to post elsewhere...

smoking is probably one of the most common things people in japan do. It's not surprising at all that Japanese talents, singers, actors smoke. However, in the last few years, smoking is somewhat going into a decline in japan.

darn, double post...

anyways, I'll make it into something else. I just got the next video for smaxsma from the video store but i haven't gotten to watch it yet. It should be pretty good though. I think one of the episodes is with will smith.

does page count really matter that much? as long as we're having fun and enjoying ourselves who cares what the page number is. it wouldn't really matter much if we have lots of pages but it's filled with empty posts like "bump" or stuff like that right?

Well, post count and page view is not the matter. As long as we have fun, and share our love with SMAP, and there's no war in this topic, I feel proud to be a member here. Proud of you Smappies, too

actually, other johnny's group also have not really good in singing member...eg: v6's ken, morita and junichi (he still ok), kanjani 8 got 2/3...japanese boy band wasn;t same as western. Western usually used to arrange a member concentrated in one tone, each member have their own tone to sing and got one sure the main vocal. but japanese boy group most of them, all people sing together in one tone. So it might really difficult for some member who not sing well when met a difficult level of keys.

Agreed about V6's Ken & Morita, but I think K8 is the other way around, 2/3 of them can sing, and I'm not talking about voices here...there's a different between a good-to-hear voices but pitchy and a singer, K8's members can sing in tune, on pitch and reach high notes without falling flat in the end, which I can say not very Johnny-like in that way...If you've heard their solos or lives you'll realize that.

About Takuya, I agreed that the man can be pitchy but he's actually a good singer, and one thing about a good singer is the way he carries the song...one thing I notice about Kimura-kun is that he can be MELODIOUS & ADD COLOR TO HIS SINGING (that way you won't get bored listening to in the long run), something that SMAP are not good at...

Nakai-kun? Hmm, I won't say anything about his singing in upbeat songs, but he's better in ballads and he can carry a rock song...

Goro-chan...He can sing within his range, but he can't reach higher notes than that so that's his limitation.

Tsuyoshi...He got a good voice but like Kimura, he tends to go off-pitch all the time, but nowadays he has got better....I won't say that he's a good singer though...

Shingo...strong and powerful voice, he stays on pitch and in tune, but he's a bit monotonous and should learn how to add color & variety to his singing.

OK beat me, I start to sound like a vocal coach here...(American Idol & Simon Cowell, *sigh*)
