As for the relationships of any japanese celebrity... it's weird. It's even weirder if you're an idol, either male or female.

It becomes such a scandal if any idol is seen with the opposite sex... even more so if it's another celebrity. Basically, people can't have relationships in peace. Unless... they get married. Hence the reason that there really isn't much news about Takuya and Kudo Shizuka.

I remember when I was younger, I hated anyone dating Goro... but that was also because I was a teenager... I'm thankfully over any of that. I still have some interest in who my favorite people date, but for the most part I support them and just wish them happiness.

Basically, anything that can hurt the image of an idol, can be pretty bad for the person they claim is "hurting" the image of the idol. It's basically very hard to ever date an idol in Japan lol. Especially Johnnys. It's funny because they're always mentioning to each other about when they're going to get married...

The dating situation with idols is so hard to explain because...
it makes no logical sense. Basically, the production/talent agencies want to keep the image that their idols are always single... despite most people with common sense know that's not the case and probably do not expect their favorite idols to be single forever.

The whole thing is frustrating to me, and it's even more annoying that this has been the situation forever. It like never changes even in this age.

it's possible... I mean yes, Johnnys have gotten married... but most of them were either out of the company by then or their group broke up(or both).

on the other hand, if any of them happen to end up in the same boat as takuya(where their significant other gets pregnant while unmarried), expect them to get married though...

and then also expect them to never talk about their significant others.

The whole situation is weird. It's hard to be an idol in love in japan... it's even harder to be the significant other of the idol...

it's such a big deal and it shouldn't be :bonk:

= About the age,, Nakai asked Shingo if he is worried bout his age,, he said not really.. Coz most of the time he do is WORK,, so dun have the time to sleep.. even he's in a holiday,, he din SLEEP also,, he keep finding his hobbies and PLAY around... :sweat: :sweat: But if he wanna sleep,, he can sleep for more than 15 hours,,, :shocked: :sweat: ... 2) At the beginning of June,, he kept calling to the fanz,, but no one answer the phone,, (He called 5 different fanz at a night, do that continuously for about 4 dayz) so he's a bit mad at this.. So,, he decided not to call his fanz,, and called Kimura-kun's fanz instead,,, who knows??? Yeah... Suzuki Ami's case with Takki was quite scary. Her career really ended, didn't it? But I see she has start her career again recently....probably from zero again.

But somehow some of the idols' girlfriends managed to strive through and still steady as a rock in their careers. Let's take some as examples, ...Kanno Miho, Hamasaki Ayumi, and also Seto Asaka(V6's Inocchi).
Apparently, favoritism applied too, in the Johnny's Jimusho. As long as the girlfriends has good reputation and liked by public... It may be hard in the beginning, but they'll survive anyway...and able to continue their relationship with those idols. It seems the jimusho has indirectly blessed them. However, PERHAPS...marriage is still a different case...I dunno...

Then, in another case.... Shingo and Tsuyoshi amazes me. They can hide their relationships with their girlfriends very, VERY well. Seldom rumours leak. And I think their GFs are just common people...but they manage to protect their girls and protect the privacy of the relationships very well. Tsuyoshi has admitted it himself...on his birthday last year, that he's actually involved in a relationship right now.

Nakai's rumours might proven his weakness in love relationships. I think he's the type who cannot handle love relationships very well. And he's also the type who cannot protect his girls good enough. He needs a lady who can protect him, instead! :sweat: He just wanted love and care from someone. And I think he likes to be taken care of. So, career women type is really not for him... He needs a housewife type of lady^^

Well...back to the first topic gshock brought....how idols relationship scandal is quite frustrating. I guess, that's just the way it is in Japan. And there's no way to change the situation. It's up to the idols' themselves to handle the situation. I think all SMAP members are already doing great .....except for Nakai :shakehead: I'm worried about him. I can only pray and hope the best on his love life :fingerscrossed:

Hmm the company probably considers which girlfriend can boost up their artists' popularity, and which couple is accepted by the public before they "give their blessing" i guess. it's another way of advertising through the girlfriend's fans probably

Ah so most of SMAP is taller than me except for Nakai..I'm happy! I know what happened to Ami's career w/Takki..that was horrible but I heard she was using him to boost her career not sure if its true tho..

Its really hard for me being a new fan of SMAP..I have so much to catch up on them..does anyone know how SMAP's relationships are w/on another? I just want to find out some more info about them..really curious..Shingo seems like the outspoken type to me...I don't know about the others.
