I post here a few times this week, been kept busy with all the new happenings around K8 at the moment. Btw, if not for K8 I wouldn't know this about SMAP (bad smappy me!). It seems like SMAP has been to Okinawa for concerts before...I did not know! And because just yesterday I found out that K8 will be staging their con in Okinawa too, and they're only the second Johnny act to ever perform in Okinawa! And apparently K8 will be the first Johnnys to tour in ALL 47 PREFECTURES in Japan, in the whole 5 months from May to September! I'm sooo happy for them, but at the same time I'm hoping that SMAP will also get that chance to tour ALL OVER JAPAN for real! It's been 15 years already!

I was breathless for a while yesterday...If SMAP's new single is released in April I'm totally gonna be broke! K8 will have a new single in April!

They performed her song ASAP KISS which was a duet with Shizuka and Utaban co-host Takaaki. Awesome, huh? Still looking for it, what I have on VHS is the performance is LONGER (from what I recall, I haven't watched my VHS in years!), but the actual download I have is just that clip from youtube (ripped from youtube, so quality isn't great)

kudo shizuka is still performing and on tv. I just saw an episode with hey hey hey recently with her on it, and my mother has seen her quite a bit on tv too.

yeah lol. my mom is japanese and watches alot more japanese tv than i do too. She's a big fan of smap as well... also of tokio :inlove:

Has anyone watched the variety show Kokoriko with Kudo Shizuka in it? She was talking about her family a lot with Esumi Makiko, they had a great time chatting!! Could only understand some parts though. Anyone could understand?

do you know when it aired? I saw esumi makiko on mentore G recently where she was talking about being a mother and it was really cute.

i think i actually have that show somewhere. i dont' know if i burnt it already or if it's in some obscure folder. i jsut remember shizuka was very happy and smiled a lot. she talked about her husband and children but not once did she mention their names. it also had shiraishi miho in it.

It was aired in 2006. Yes, Shiraishi Miho was just asking Esumi and Kudo a lot of questions very eagerly. It was like Esumi and Kudo were treated as senpais giving some life advice to a young Shiraishi. Makes good watching. Pity I couldn't understand much.
